😍 What to see in UCLÉS (Cuenca). History of a MONASTERY that worth a movie. ⛪ 🎥

Uclés in the province of Cuenca, is well known for its extraordinary monastery. This place was the seat of the order of Santiago for a long time and despite the passage of time the place retains an imposing presence.
In this video I intend to give you a brushstroke of the history of the place, the transcendent battles that took place at the foot of its fortress and some of the appearances of the place in the cinema and in several series.
Do not forget to take a walk around the town of Uclés: walk to the round fountain (place of ancient cults), the water door or the whitewashed streets where the married knights of the order of Santiago once had their homes.
If you want to have a vermouth or eat in the area, I leave you a couple of good recommendations, yes, always in my opinion.
👉 I recommend you always consult the official website of the monastery before going to have updated schedules, as well as the limitations and restrictions in force, if any.

From 15:00hrs to 18:00hrs* (from 2 November to 28 March)

Morning: from 10:15 to 13:00 (passes every 15 minutes).
Afternoon: from 15:15 to 17:00 (passes every 15 minutes) * (from 2 November to 28 March)

Excelente trabajo. Hace dos semanas estuve en el Monasterio y eché en
falta paneles informativos. Es un gran monumento muy desperdiciado.
