Out of curiosity.....did you order the discs as per the PR number off the sticker on the car? If you did and they couldn't get that right that's quite poor on their behalf. There's usually 5 plus possibilities for VAG stuff and it's the PR code is key 😊
I would take that as BRILLIANT news, John! 🥳 Nothing new and expensive popped up. Changing pads and discs is general maintenance. As you said yourself: who cares about the tires if they’re not worn or excessively old and cracked?! So far, this is looking like a best case scenario barn find.

Only basic mechanical stuff, John. That is one lovely car. Once you get the brakes going & an NCT, it’ll sell itself.

I find Mister'Auto better for supplies John, easier deal with and better delivery times.
I've never had an issue with them, AutoDoc however will not be getting used again.
