Whenever the kids start begging for money it ruins the mood. Happens to me too when I visit. Makes your experience less enjoyable. Here in the US you have people begging for money too at gas stations and stop lights, but when kids are doing it it hits different.
Omg it's too crowded! What day was this? I think this has turned me off with going to Ugbo for now. It's not worth it if you can't even properly eat your food (I'm ok w standing but not w this volume of crowd). I hate it when there are no trash bins but I'm not sure if that place is regulated. Plus the guy at tge steak place wasn't really nice and I'd also lose my appetite if i am beside a smelly (hopefully not) sewer with rats and cockroaches running about as if they're not scared of people.
Turmeric is a spice similar to ginger. Both came from the same plant family. The main issue with places like that is that they usually cook cuts of meat like t-bone well done so it end-up overcooked due to the sizzling plate that makes the meat chewy and dry.
