I absolutely love the held notes in the left hand in the first three measures of the grace note section at 2:50 appropriately marked "dolente." I think it has a more interesting character than the published version. I tried to locate the sheet music for the version Byron Janis plays here but never found it. Does anybody know if it's available in print or online?
All composers play their stuff differently depending on their mood or whatever, but putting their emotions in another manuscript? And discovering the evidence? Exciting vid, thank you!
