Insane, probably the most creative and innovative pianist alive.
I agree.
Modern jazz, Steve Reich, Armenian folklore and Meshuggah... all in one! I love Tigran's music
This song gives me chills every single time I hear it. Impossible rhythms, fascinating harmonies, and beautiful discordance. This masterpiece hits all the right buttons
I am so grateful for living in the same era as Tigran!
That slowdown transition starting at 5:10 is fantastic
That 'Justin Timberlake' dude enjoyed the beat so much. Tigran is a genius.
That bass player makes the best guitar faces! Love watching him and the guitarist rock the fuck out every Tigran Berklee performance!
Magma
Mingus
Minimalist
Middle Eastern
Meshuggah
Who would combine these influences!
My ears thank Tigran for doing so!
Some of the most beautiful music in the Universe. Period
May the Armenian rage unite us all one day
When a pianist is good enough to say "this monitor is a few centimeters too far off... I have to position it better mid-song..."
Layth Sidiq
plays with National Arab Orchestra now. Superb skills.
love how into it all the performers all, so many smiles.
4:32 is when the guitarist and bassist lose their shit and 4:53 is when the drummers follow suit. They had been waiting for this section. And I am loving it.
Extraordinary piece ...Tigran is on his own as a master musician 🙏
I love when Tigran smashes the amp to the ground at 2:12 and it is right on tempo!
Oh dear lord what a fantastic piece of art!
I feel like this song is narrating a pretty good (and epic) story
love it - probably some of the most exciting and complex music these students got to play while at school.
holy fuck, today was the day i discovered this
This is just amazing.. Tigran you are fantastic!! And the students are playing SO WELL! I am so happy and grateful to be alive and experience this piece of art and music... Thank you for this inspiration!
Tigran I love You man you are my hero
Magnificent! That groves and jazz wow!
What an absolute masterpiece......love it!!!
tigran hamasyan, une belle découverte, magnifique, je kiffe
So glad i stumbled across this guy
Yeah! It’s so amazing to watch this live, I think this is my favorite of the Berklee sessions.
I want to see Tigran perform live with musicians.
What a beast!
dude with red hair! i am totally with you. that must have been so fun to play live :)
Yeah! Yoel and Guy, always in the middle of fun!
Years later still visiting this one.. This is what turned me on to Tigran
Tigran can Djent!!
Great arrangement great time changes great feel :)
always a pleasure to enjoy tigran
Insanely awesome fusion!
these musicians are unbelievable, how tight...wonderful!
Amo. Amo infinitamente esta pieza.
Incredible music! Tigran you are a genius!
C'est magnifique Tigran,bravo mille fois
Absolutely, absolutely insane
YESSSSS! it is so good to find clever and talented people composing and performing masterpieces like this! keep it up! ;)
Those grooves are nauseating. Loved every second.
Stunning.
Where was I looking for, when this beauty was right here? Excellent musicianship and taste! In love with the music!
Fine! I will go practice now.
Breathtaking ❤🔥
4:41 THAT BASS
Hamasyan as leaders
Tigran is so bad ass!
I really need a record of this performance
Nádhera!
Merci. Thank you.
Everyone had fun 👍😃
I could listen to that ending riff forever. Learned it on piano today. It's all groups of 2s and 3s (with an occasional group of 4 thrown in) so as far as a time signature, I just wrote it in mixed metre. Or in other words, I follow the clave more than the real time signature that being a disguised 3/4.
An absolute genius
What sorcery is this! Beautiful
That's Superb.. nice arranging timing great.. congrats all
One big reason to be a proud Armenian.
It's like listening to a jazz version of System of A Down! Love this very much!
this is such a jam
Oh wow... this is beyond words. Hits you like a bulldozer, but in the right way.
Geneus! No comment!
I love the piece!
5:09 best part
Magician
god this song kills
Beautiful music. Dear Berklee - please post recording of "Drip" from this concert. TIA
Wowsers
This has made my day, so amazing
Existimos seres humanos y Tigran Hamasyan...
This is more metal than metal
Energy, electricity, thick air..
Maxime Cholley ça rigole plus tu joue vraiment dans la cour des grands ! Super morceau de Tigran !
that beautiful seven-string Ibanez guitar is dying for a solo....
I appreciate that the cellist is wearing docs.
Sounds like Steve Reich! Amazing
Tigran!!!
I so want to see a collaboration with Tigran and TesseracT or Pomegranate Tiger. You could call it Pomegranate Tigran!
Brilliant.
Superb !
Muy bien. Saludos desde Venezuela
WOW
love it!!
impressive!!!
if cyriak split into 30 different people and composed something, this is probably close to what would come out of it
go to bed. put headphones .listen.travel. ...
Fantastic. Though I didn't realise David Tennant (Doctor Who) could play piano
2:26 I get a loose vibe of the beginning of Debussy's danse profane
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Genial
they are probably all crazy, and they make music graze with chaos. a perfect logical chaos within their anarchic order.
1:52 bass player going fucking sicko mode
#HAGO
Ibanez 7 strings?
Wow
i have always wondered if this is double the speed? anyone?
super pianist
✨🌹✨
