Depends on your game ping and isp server ping. I wouldn’t use advanced if your above 20 ping

@@kammya665no never use x. Second man presss and just as the player gets close to the opponent you press l1 then circle or lb then b the to switch and tackle

@@kammya665 x is never good if u in any division above 5. One u get into the event higher division almost no one uses it and even if they do it’s extremely rare.

@@cCiIcCo You're supposed to wait until the second man is close enough, then switch to him to tackle. By then he's already covering the pass lane that you might leave open by switching players.

I’ve watched FC pro. Levi second man press timing was perfect. He prepared very well before every round of the tournament. Hope the hard work pays off 🏆🇳🇱

It is an old trick in every FIFA or now FC24 but people don't use and you have to also add that the partner will not tackle or help you out, you have to switch the player next to the ball in order to have the ball.

My player just stands next to him and does nothing 😂
Sometimes when i second man press it selects the wrong player & i need to let it go & press it again, not sure if its my settings or something

I hate people that do this. But I have countered it by moving the ball really fast. Also people that use this nonsense, another thing you have to do is keep possession of the ball and they have to attack. Especially when they are a goal or two down.
No wonder my ai teammates just stand there or even back away from the ball when it gets free. I just needed to press R1 to make them do something? 😂
Second-man run Ive heard is actually a dogshit tactic because it opens up your area. I learned this will playing career. It’s better to play the position you are sitting in and occasionally press the opponent when you have a chance to counter attack.
Literally everyone will say this is a bad tactic.

Honestly fc24 sucks. Players are 10x faster than me and I have top players. I react really fast and nothing. Then players swear their nice when FC keeps messing up basic passes or take 3 seconds to make a regular pass

And also u can tap rb/r1 then tap it again and hold it and the player indicator will show blue and not green and it will move two players idk what it does though cuz I accidentally do that instead of second man press when I panic

This has been a feature in every fifa game as long as I can remember. And I'm old...'ish. You can also hold X and your tagged player will also automatically pressure the player.
I thought the R1 button was for runs , Can someone please explain better for me ?
R1 does different things when attacking and defending. In this case, when defending it will call the second man. If attacking and you tap r1, the guy you’re looking at will “check in” or run toward you.
