SAME HERE!! I don’t know why but my gut is saying Georgia is going to win this game.
Your gut feeling is spot on. I'm highly hopeful that GA will indeed win this game.
I hope not lol
I was sure we would win the bama game so I’m trying not to get excited 😓😓
My gut says Texas. 41-28
@tullfarley4962 Your gut's gonna get your feelings hurt.
If the Texas D line comes to play it’s going to be easy work
I think it could go either way but Texas hasn’t given up 38-41 points in two years. The most was 37 to Washington in the playoffs and that’s with a defense that wasn’t near as good as this year… to an offense significantly better than Georgia’s this year. We’ll all find out soon!
41-38 was a good number once upon a time.
🤘🏻😉
@@GlorfindelofGondolin 🤘🤘
@@Jarrettchase Once upon a time, Vince ran for the Roses.
Wow lol they picked uga which means uga is now going to lose
I think they all picked Bama too and we know how that turned out
We'll find out soon enough...won't we. Hook 'em. Texas faces it's own offense and defense every week. The reports from training camp have played out in the regular season. People act like Texas dominating lesser opponents (including the defending national champs and bitter rival) means they won't know what it's like to go against a good team. They see better teams in Practice every day.
UGA made Mississippi State's offense look elite. Texas wins this by at least 10.
I wonder how well this discussion will age?? I'm guessing it will hang like a shiveled brown banana on Sunday! Lol.. Good luck with your Uga win🤣
UGA fan here. Texas wins 42-27. This GA team drops crucial passes and draws penalties when things get tough. Our DBs got wrecked on 50/50 balls against MS State, plus the injuries to Tate and others. It's a night game, on the road...UGA loses bigly.
So you're saying the 'horns haven't played a good offense. Therefore Miss State does not have a good offense, yet they scored 31 on the Dawgs...hmmm.
Exactly. This doesn't feel like a win at all. Remove the fact that UGA has looked pedestrian against lesser talent and the fact that Texas looks elite against lesser talent, it's a night game in Austin and the first big SEC game in DKR. UGA has shown zero mental toughness outside of one quarter of the Bama game. 28-13 Texas.
@@RFA3III Umm.. 3 quarters of the Bama game. The entire KY game. The Clemson game.
@@RFA3III @mateostaplez7497 I also think what people are missing is the fact that TX “made” those offenses look bad. I don’t think anyone is dominating our opponents the way TX did…has anyone else held OU to 3 points, or Miss St to 13…not GA! and then they factor in those bad offensive numbers from the TX game as well. everyone looks at, “oh, look at these offenses that TX has played” AFTER TX plays them. What were they before?
I think Sark and TX will be dialed up for this game…MORE then what GA needs to get out of this. GA is still GA, but TX is trying to make a statement in the SEC, biggest home game in decades, TX #1, home game at night, and Sark proving himself. GA will put up a fight but I think TX is too overwhelming.
@@CoachEgg lol okay bud. 3 qtrs my ass. Clemson was basically a home game and UK is a 3-3 team with all three of its loses coming at home. Not a single compete game.
@@RFA3III Last 3 quarters, UGA beat Alabama 34-20. But whatever. Maybe you can't add.
Congrats on 32k subs dude 🤙
I picked Georgia in this game and I love Texas football. Kirby is playing for a playoff spot. Dangerous spot for Texas imo
Georgia’s Dline is not as good as we would like it to be. Texas offense has a high potential to score a lot, therefore the offense cannot sleep walk the first 2 quarters!
Georgia beat Miss St by 10 and Texas beat Miss St by 30 …. I’m going with the Horns
Tom Herman owns Smart. Texas replaced Herman with Sarkisian.
Texas 37-24 Jawjaw
Last time these teams met, Jawjaw was a 15 point favorite. That did not turn out so well.
Texas by two scores.
🤘🏻🏈🤘🏼🏈🤘🏈🤘🏽🏈🤘🏾🏈🤘🏿
This is joyous news to see you guys are riding with Them Dawgs. There is every reason to believe we can win. Go Dawgs!
My prediction, which is not worth much, is 42-13 Longhorns.
Sorry boys I think you will all be sad on Saturday night because the Texas Longhorns will put on a show and make a statement win against the Dawgs. This game win be a dog fight, big plays and big time players.
Counterpoint: Last year Alabama had a first year starter at QB who was talented but raw, hence the up-and-down. Beck didn't regress from last year, his offensive line got worse. Last season Beck was sacked 11 times and threw 6 picks. Through the first six games this season he's been sacked 6 times and thrown 5 picks, despite a similar number of attempts through six games (196/209).
Texas not having a true mobile quarterback is the biggest advantage for Georgia.
The argument can be made that Texas hasn't played anyone, but it cannot be disputed that they did exactly what they were supposed to do in those games. Even when they've played poorly, they won by double digits.
Everyone busting Texas saying they haven't played any offensive teams. What offensive juggernaut has Georgia played? The top offense they played was Clemson - who has great stats based on playing no defenses in the ACC. Alabama and Auburn are both middle of the pack SEC offenses. Look at the common opponent: Miss State. One team gave up 13 points (with the lone TD coming in garbage time).. the other gave up 31 points in a shootout. Georgia gave up over 300 yards to MS passing compared to 144 against Texas.
1. I think the trenches will tell who wins the game. 2. I think Beck gifts TX a couple of turnovers. I believe it's going to be a great game.
If GA doesn't self-destruct with turnovers, they'll win.
I’ll say this for any team. Turnovers are earned.
@@bryanmccall3888 I'd say 30% is earned and 70% is the result of players' mistakes.
@@chewbaka1496 I think the same about TX.
That feeling in your gut is actually just Taco Bell.
It’s ok to pick Texas if you’re being objective. Nobody will hold it against you. I haven’t seen enough to say they’ll beat the team playing the best football.
Texas is playing the best football. It’s ok to pick Georgia. Nobody will hold it against you. I haven’t seen enough(Georgia)to say they’ll beat the team playing the best football. Georgia gave up 31 points and more than 300 yards to Miss S,. And Struggled against Kentucky. And you’re going to post crap like you did.
The eyes of Texas are upon you. 🤘🤠
Texas top 2 quarterbacks paid 6 million dollars in nil, who knows what the rest of the team gets? Can anyone keep up with them?
In watching my nephew play in DKR stadium this season in Austin it’s a very loud & hostile environment to play in. Good luck to the Bulldogs.
Obviously, you've never been to any SEC stadium. I'm sure it's loud in Austin. However, I don't think it's louder than LSU, Tenn. Auburn, Bama, UGA, FL or USC. Yes, USC. I had an SEC ref say Williams Brice is the loudest stadium.
@@randyyounker943 Alabama LB Will Anderson in 2022: "To be honest, since I've been here these last three years, this is probably the loudest environment I've played in," Anderson said. "Probably the hardest game I've played in since I've been in college football. Their fans were super loud, they had a lot of energy. But the atmosphere was crazy."
-----------
To be honest myself, his comment surprised me. Especially since that was a day game
Damn after seeing all three of you pick Georgia in a high scoring affair tells me that is absolutely not happening 🤣
Texas by at least two scores 🤘🏻
Texas hasn't really played anyone yet, so we'll see. I don't think they will beat GA by double digits, if they even beat GA at all.
Georgia 21 Texas 38
🤘
Sarkisian is 7-12 in one score games at Texas...
2021: 2-5
2022: 2-5 (one-point loss to AL)
2023: 3-2 (playoff loss and loss to OU-multiple turnovers in both)
Just my own humble opinion, but it seems like UGA (Kirby, et al) have a mental, heck, a physical “block” when it comes to Alabama.
He and his dogs go into Austin without the “awe” and buildup that games vs Bama has. Anything can happen. Georgia can win this game. Will they play at the level needed? We’ll see. I’m thinking they’ll rise to the occasion.
This game is 50/50 and it's all about Quinn Ewers. If he's dialed in like he was against Michigan and Bama last year then Texas wins comfortably. If he plays like he did against OU last week, then they lose. That's the big question. What do y'all think?
Should have never really been an instance where people thought Texas had this game in bag lol UGA set a standard so high these last few years that 1 regular season loss in those 3 years and all hope is now lost. UGA is a young team that puts more and more together every week. When that offense and defense hit on the same note, no team in the country has a chance. And also, we haven’t seen a UGA that really NEEDS a win like this. For playoff purposes and bragging rights and I feel like this will be the game they put it all together. They adjusted to bama after 1 half of play and Texas doesn’t have near the speed or athleticism milroe possesses. Gonna be a good one but I see UGA busting it out this weekend
Kirby was putting in the Texas game plan during Miss State week.... UGA 27-24.
The total points number in this game is 56.5. All three of you predict a solid over by 10+ points. I will be surprised if you are right about both teams scoring in the mid to high 30's.
I think the Vegas total number is about right. I agree with you that this will likely be a one score game but more like 28-24.
Thanks for jinxing it.
Before, judging the Texas defense, maybe you should go to the film. Lol. Y’all are kind of defeating your own premise. Y’all should do a breakdown of Texas.
No dog in the fight (he he) but seriously I’ve went back and forth on this one.
I THINK Texas is the better team. I would feel a lot better if they had a better group of backs but if the line blocks, decent running backs can be productive so I know they’ve recruited high level RBs.
On the other hand, UGA isn’t tearing it up on the ground either.
Football is a game of matchups and it rarely matters who the better team is honestly, it’s which team matches up better on each side of the ball.
Also, turnovers negate any advantage either team has. They kill you. So if one team is -3 in turnovers they ain’t winning, doesn’t matter how good they are.
I wish I saw Texas against a better offense. It doesn’t mean you don’t have an elite defense because you haven’t but also doesn’t mean you do. Just ask Tennessee a few weeks back.
I won’t make a pick because I honestly don’t know on this but I lean Texas at home.
I don’t think it hits the over with how good these 2 defenses are. I don’t see a shootout for both sides. If it’s high scoring giving me UT
So yall are saying Georgia has to be perfect to beat Texas in an unfamiliar environment for a night game where the Texas fans are going to bring it? And all three of yall think that’s the most likely outcome? Homer picks. I don’t understand the logic behind that.
To me, it seems like the gap between what Texas has demonstrated this year and what it needs to do to win this game is smaller than the gap between what Georgia has demonstrated this year and what they need to do to win. You can say Texas hasn’t played anybody, but if you’re saying that all that tells me is you haven’t seen the tape. I don’t think Texas is necessarily a “trendy” pick, but I think the above sentiment is what people are realizing. And then you add in home field (which has been enormous this year), unfamiliarity, and additional factors like F1 that may make it more difficult for Georgia fans to show up, I think all of that adds up to an easier lane for Texas on paper. Could very well just be wishful thinking from a Texas grad living in GA. Thanks for the great analysis as usual, I’m excited to see it play out.
All three of you predict a solid over (Vegas total 56.5). I agree this is likely a one score game but don't see both teams scoring over 30. More like 28-24 or 31-28.
Kirby's record at Georgia in one score games is impressive as is his record against top 5 teams (9-6). But, most of those have been either at home or neutral sites (usually Atlanta). Not so great on the road (lost twice at Alabama).
I will take Texas 31-28.
Wow! Picking Georgia 38-35 surprised me
Pretty sure they are going to be without Isaiah Bond this week
He’ll play
Doesn’t matter if he doesn’t
If you know ball him being out changes nothing. Everyone on Texas gets the ball.
That would mean more of freshman Ryan Wingo. Wingo is a 5-star recruit who is averaging 22.8 yards per reception on 13 catches and 40 yards per play on two rushing attempts.
Back a dawg in a corner and he will come out fighting! Hope your right! Ive got that sane gut feeling new weekend new game!
Just go back and check the predictions of 2023 sec championship games. Same vibes absolutely different choices.
don't get a bulldog cornered, dawgs gonna bite the horns
35+ points against Texas? Cmon
Don’t fool yourself. Georgia is going to score. Texas is still a big 12 school. You don’t 180 your defense in a year and a false sense of security because Oklahoma didn’t have a quarterback isn’t legit.
Georgia is not scared of a quarterback that isn’t mobile.
Man y'all some homers 😂
I hope you guys are right.
Ellis Robinson needs to play...a lot.
Dont get me wrong this one makes me nervous but still my gut says Dawgs on top. The fact that the Dawgs need this win and are so damn hungry to play a complete game and to prove who they are. Texas does not need this win and like has been said, who have they played.
Everyone seems to forget Kirby plays 3 dimensional chess with time dilation against grand masters not this checkers bs against sub par wanna he's!
Then again, on any given Saturday......
According to 90% of the UGA fan base we can chalk it up as a loss cause we are terrible! Love how confident our fans are 💪💪💪
Give me UGA 38 - Texas 28.
I’m not one of them. I predict UGA wins as well. My guess is 35-28.
38-27 Hook'em🤘
10 toes in! My man!
Good luck guys, and I love the ( ain’t played nobody ) HOOK ‘EM
Threaten Carson with taking away his Lambo and jewelry if we lose. Maybe that will get his attention.
Texas 40 Georgia 13
Georgia only has ONE chance........they gotta get a pass rush on Texas and Ewers. WIthout that they don't match up against the Texas WRs.
Texas by 10. Have you ever been in DKR with 100,000 fans…lol😂. Texas receivers will torch GA debacks
I have a really bad feeling about this game... But I think Kirby might finally get it done here.
Finally? Really?
@@CoachEgg “finally” meaning this season finally getting a complete game put together.
I think GA will right their ship, starting with a win over Texas. GA will go undefeated the rest of the way.
@@chewbaka1496 agreed

I'll be surprised if Georgia scores over 17 points. It wont be close.

I smell a little homer cooking in here… Lol love you guys Hook Em 🤘
Lololol, I'll definitely be back to say that your score predictions were wrong!
Definitely come back!
😳
Before, judging the Texas defense, maybe you should go to the film. Lol. Y’all are kind of defeating your own premise. Y’all should do a breakdown of Texas.
I've watched highlights of TX vs. Oklahoma and TX vs. Mississippi State. I don't think they're as good a football team as Texas fans think they are. If GA doesn't self-destruct with multiple turnovers, GA will win.
@@chewbaka1496 highlights versus the actual games are two different things. MSU was close due to 2 fumbles by Blue in the red zone. Also a dropped 60 yard post.
Oklahoma didn’t look great because Quinn just came back off injury plus OU’s very good defense.
Georgia fans really can’t give logical reasons for why they’ll win other than “feeling”.
Don’t forget, they almost lost to Kentucky and gave up 31 to the worst team in the SEC.
Wishful thinking is not analysis
@@garrettblalock5943 I guess we'll find out Saturday.
@@garrettblalock5943 Here's what's not wishful thinking. There is a
lot of lost perspective based on a half season played. And it is because
Georgia fans and Texas fans both are too focused on Miss St.
Got news for for Texas fans thinking your defense is a proven
commodity. A proven track record is not on your side. That's wishful
thinking on your part. What you are unaware or forgetful of is that Georgia
prior to Miss State had given up a grand total of one TD to teams not
named Alabama. Those teams were Clemson, Tenn Tech , Kentucky,
and Auburn. That is dominance because in modern ball teams regularly
score a cpl TD's by accident. I respect the heck out of Sark's abilitites
and the Longhorns ability to hit the gas on offense. But i see a lot of
Longhorn fans willingly ignorant of how challenged they will be Saturday.
Well all I can say is live and learn.
