I'm a retired newbie, and after a few months of getting educated, I stumbled onto the Seestar and got mine in Jan. I am 100% sold on this device. Be clear, NOT a toy, as some diehard astrophotographers have said. I say embrace the technology. It's light weight, easy to set up, the app works, and I so enjoy sharing my images with friends and family. I'm sure the next ZWO release will have a better camera. There has been so much excitement about Seestar that ZWO might start a series of Seestars. 2 or 3 price points. Whatever comes out next I'm sure I will buy. Great follow-up review on your part too.

I read do hope they get a bigger sensor in the future. Like the 585mc sensor would be a killer combo with this. I've been having fun to see what is the greatest pictures I can come out with. I just did the helix with it last night and my goodness it's stupid good for this thing haha.

Hunter is an amazing guy. He helped produce our Governor Ross Mansion documentary in 2023 everyone.

Thanks Hunter. I've been holding off to see if changes were to be made. All in all, it's an amazing scope.

Nice review Hunter!! It looks pretty portable so I’m tempted to buy one and take it to dark locations. My Celestron 8 SCT is a bit heavy and bulky for for that.
