    A true musician/pianist. Even when I don't necessarily agree with his choices, his musicianship still shines through.

      Auf dem Wasser zu Singen is wonderfully executed but lacks any introspection and way too fast and bombastic for my taste.. Kissin gets it perfectly

    it is a real joy to be able to listen to this master of the past. in his hands, the piano becomes a singing instrument with its own voice. his tone is deep, his pianissimo is truly pianissimo but intense, his forte is truly forte but never harsh. his voicing is masterful; each voice is singing, especially in No. 3... he takes many risks that would be forbidden today but these risks are necessary to make the music come alive. thank you for sharing this.
