Jesus in the Quran
Jesus is mentioned exactly 25 times in the Quran, while his mother, Mary, is mentioned 34 times, with a whole Surah named after her 00:52.
The Quran describes Jesus' birth, his miracles, and his ability to speak from the cradle, as well as his performance of miracles such as making birds out of clay and bringing the dead back to life 01:22.
The Quran states that Jesus did not die at the hands of those who thought they killed him, with the verse "they neither killed him nor did they crucify him" being definitive 05:32.
The majority of Muslim scholars interpret the verse "I will cause you to die" as meaning Jesus was put into a long sleep, rather than actually dying, and that he was raised up to God 03:46.
The Quran mentions the claim of the Jews that they killed Jesus and the slander they gave to Mary, but Allah says they did not kill him and that he was raised up 04:27.
The Quran also mentions that Jesus will come down before his actual death, and that none of the people of the book will die until they believe in Jesus properly 08:46.
The Quran describes a unique story where the disciples of Jesus ask for a miracle, and Jesus asks Allah to bring down a table laden with food, which is sent down with a warning that anyone who becomes an unbeliever after this will be punished 10:04.
Jesus's message and the corruption of Christianity
Jesus in Islam is mentioned in the Quran, with the earliest reference in Surah Z, where Allah mentions the Quraysh comparing and contrasting Jesus with their gods, and Allah refutes this comparison, stating that Jesus did not preach the worship of himself or his mother 14:29.
The Quran describes the followers of Jesus as having compassionate and soft hearts, and Allah made their hearts full of compassion and Rahma 15:12.
The Quran explicitly states that modern Christianity is a development and corruption of the original message of Jesus, with multiple verses referencing this, including Surah Hadid, which mentions that those who say Jesus is God have blasphemed 18:08.
The Quran also mentions that Jesus and his mother were created servants who ate food, refuting the idea of their divinity 18:32.
The Quran warns the people of the book not to exaggerate in their religion and not to follow groups of people who went astray before them 18:49.
The Quran mentions that Jesus never taught the Trinity, his divinity, or the rituals and liturgy of modern Christianity, and that these were invented by his followers after him 20:58.
The development of Christianity after Jesus
After Jesus' disappearance, his followers were left without a clear codification of his teachings, leading to chaos and the emergence of different Christian groups, including Jewish Christianity and Pauline Christianity 22:25.
Paul, a persecutor of early Christians, claimed to have seen Jesus after the Ascension and converted to Christianity, becoming a disciple. He preached that following the law of God was not necessary for salvation, and that belief alone was enough 24:09.
Paul's teachings differed from those of Jesus, who said he was sent only to the children of Israel, and Paul's ideology eventually became the dominant form of Christianity 25:40.
The early Christian church was divided into different sects, including Jewish Christianity, Pauline Christianity, and Gnostic Christianity, each with their own interpretations of Jesus and God 26:30.
Constantine, the Roman Emperor, converted to Christianity in the year 300 and adopted Pauline Christianity as the state religion, forcing others to adopt it and leading to the persecution of other Christian sects 27:50.
The Council of Nicaea, convened by Constantine, solidified the Trinity as official doctrine, which was first proposed by Tertullian in the 3rd century 29:25.
The Trinity and Muslim Observance of Christian Holidays
The Quran references the truth that Jesus never taught the Trinity and that those who taught it were misguided, and Muslims should not import festivals into their religious traditions 32:35.
Muslims should participate in family gatherings, even if they are the only Muslim in their family, to present Islam in a good and positive manner 34:24.
The goal of attending such gatherings is to share Islam and ask for forgiveness related to corporate celebrations 34:31.
In Muslim households, Christmas (25th) should be treated the same as any other day, with no special celebrations or observances 34:40.

Alhumdulillah for sharing this knowledge of religious text and citing many references from the Qur’an regarding details of Prophet Isa (as)(Jesus)’s teachings including that he never preached worship of his mother or himself. He, in fact, glorified and worshipped Allah (swt). Thank you so very much for stating that although some sects in Islam have differing views on Islamic leadership, we are blessed that our beautiful religion unites us all in our strong unwavering belief in Allah (swt) and the final messenger, Prophet Muhammad (saw).

Am I the only one that noticed the audio speeds up every time he says “isa ibn Maryam”
FYI Not all Christians are united on the Trinity, I am an historical SDA who does not accept the Nicene creed of 325 or 381. Our church was the first Protestant church that rejected this teaching of Rome. Unfortunately the majority of SDA today do accept this false theology that has crept into the church.
Also I would like to point out that the majority of non Trinitarians that I know, do not believe that Jesus was created, and like Arius, who was quoted as saying “We are persecuted because we believe Jesus had a beginning” so are those today who claim that Jesus is the literal only begotten Son of God. Jesus’ having a beginning does not mean He was created. Jesus came from His Father and was given the life of His Father, and that life had no beginning, it was Jesus’ personality as the Son of God that had a beginning. John 1:1-3, 5:26, 6:57, 17:3.
By the way, I really enjoy listening to the Muslim perspective on this issue.🙏🏻

What about drinking alcohol? Was it allowed for early christians?
Yes, it was allowed because Sharia can change over time. For example, in (5:48): “We have assigned a law and a path to each of you.” And in (3:50): “I have come to confirm the truth of the Torah which preceded me, and to make some things lawful to you which used to be forbidden.” Additionally, in (3:93): “Except for what Israel made unlawful for himself, all food was lawful to the Children of Israel before the Torah was revealed.”
Similarly, alcohol was initially allowed at the beginning of Islam. However, it was prohibited step by step. At first, it was only forbidden to pray while intoxicated, as mentioned in (4:43): “Do not come anywhere near the prayer if you are intoxicated.” Later, alcohol was completely prohibited, as stated in (5:90-91): “Intoxicants and gambling, idolatrous practices, and [divining with] arrows are repugnant acts-Satan’s doing-so shun them so that you may prosper.”

Correction: quran does not use the expression 'Trinity' rather it uses the expression "three" which is more accurate and more compelling toward refuting contradictory versions of the trinities associated with the term "three"
Also the council of nicea did not solidify the trinity but that jesus is divine and equal to the father being the same “substance” the trinity and the divinity of the holy spirit came i believe in the later council of Constantinople

The tafseer about Juda replacement is false, and made by muslims whom didn't know the gospels which said clearly Simon of Cyrena took the cross, and then the people was far from the cross, hence nobody could recognized who was killed. Simply like that. Read Matthew, Luke and Mark gospels. By christianity follows the fake gospel, paul ones, John Gospel which says that people was in discussion with the false jesus on a cross.

The first task would be to determine the validity and accuracy of the message of the Quran. Also, historical accounts speak against the Quran's account of the crucifixion of Jesus. To claim 600 years after the fact that he didn’t die is like saying in the year 2624 that Yahiya Sinwar wasn't killed and that it was actually someone else and that we were all deceived. What would you think of the person who claimed that it wasn't Yahiya Sinwar, but someone else? To quote Yasir Qadhi, "How do we know this? Because Paul told us so." Why do followers of Islam believe as they do? Because Mohammed told them so.

It's useful to consider that the Qur'an says that it was "made to appear" that he was crucified. Something did happen. The debate comes to it's significance and what ACTUALLY happened.
The theory of divine rapture: Jesus' soul being taken by God directly without employing angels so that it appears that he was killed. The Qur'an explicitly denies that THEY (the Jews) did not crucify him (which boils down to the historical claim that the jews are the murderes of Jesus, and their texts boasting about it) nor did they kill him.

There is no Roman record of this crucifixion. The Qur'an puts it in such way to suggest a legend had grown in time that the enemies of Jesus had put him to a shameful death. Yasir Quadhi is wrong, he always ignores the one verse in the Qur'an which refutes the idea Jesus will come back to Earth near the end of times.
