HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

People should understand the dynamic at AHG. Johann is still an owner, founder and chairman of AHG. He has full power to recall the CEO if they take the company down a path he does not like. Relax on all the doom prophecies :)

Ever since the region lock I've mostly heard from doomers saying the game is already dead. Yet they keep coming back to say the game is dead. You'd think they would stop at some point if it were true.
Once moral starts to build back up most of this will be forgotten and Helldivers will return to its rightful place as one of the best games around.

lol, not only that, but it seemed like @loadedcrysis implied he took a paycut for changing roles! lmao, he did not take a paycut cuz he switched roles from ceo to cco. he is the OWNER of the company! he literally decides what everyone makes at AH and no one determines what he gets to make. xD
There’s two reasons why we shouldn’t be worried about Shams.
First, Johan knows him, trusts him and can still take the position of CEO if shams screws up.
Second, during his time at paradox, there weren’t that many paid DLCs coming out. The games only started to become more money hungry once he left and paradox hired someone new

Without knowing when they had to 'lock' the update for console certification, I would expect it to contain the Spear and Erupter fixes. I'm hoping they had time to do a pass of the AR's and other weapons.
The patrol spawn fix will be a welcome one for many.
Rover Fetcher - The helldiver can mark an opponent or target in range. If an eagle / bombardment or grenade is then thrown while this is up the rover will catch this in the air and fly it to the marked destination. If near the player when a sample icon appears the rover will attempt to recover these one at a time ferrying them back so long as the helldiver remains within 50 meters of them.
Rover sapper - This backpack has supplies to manufacture 3 rovers and can recover these supplies with a resupply box, producing one rover every thirty seconds. If an opponent / fabricator / bughole is tagged the sapper autopaths to the marked target. The sapper will destroy fabricators/bugholes by floating into their entryways before detonating. Against enemy creatures it will attach itself before exploding with medium armor penetration. If an opponent has a large enough weak spot the sapper will attach itself there before exploding (Hulk/tank/turret heat sinks etc).
That reconnect button would be so nice. Was extracting during a mission on suicide difficulty, and all three of my squad mates simultaneously lost connection, and at the exact same time, the bots dropped a horde AND a factory strider. I still am shocked that I made it out of there and only died once
This is dope. So glad Johann is delegating CEO duties so that he can be hands on. I think he was a great CEO but it's clear his passion is needed in the studio.

I really dont think that its the players that are getting bored, its more like some of us HellDivers have maxed out all of our samples, medals, ships, and warbonds. Not really much of a reason to play, if you gain nothing from it. Mind you, I greatly enjoy the game, and still pop in on my weekends. ( just not for as long these days )

Vehicles with more than one pilot would be nice really - gunner and driver. Other people remain in support as it should be.
Basically a tank with main gun or some x4 rapid firing autocannons. Driver may have a forward-facing HMG to clear away any threats that come in their way.
Maybe even a mobile artillery or a MLRS with no other weapons, hence the support of people on the ground.
A bigger and tougher mech? Again, gunner and driver.
A hover gunship? Something that can't really fly but hovers some 7-10 m above the ground and very mobile. Autocannons + dumb rocket pods.
Why more than one pilot? To emphasize team work. + blowing stuff up together with someone is really really fun.

There were leaks of a Medic Backpack and holds 4 "packs" of stims similar to the supply backpack, but we know nothing of how it will work. Below is my realistic guess of its mechanics:
- Each pack contains 2 stims, just like the stim pickup on the map. The backpack allows you to store stim pickups.
- A single resupply pack will give yourselves 2 stims as well as fill up one pack. This is same as the supply backpack.
- Carrying the backpack will give you a constant health regeneration, as well as boost your stamina recovery by 30%.
Would be nice to be able to tweak your load out when you have to be respawed. Maybe be able to change grenade type. Something like that.
Support equipment: Rising Banner of the Patriots.
A flag with a relay beacon embedded.
Significantly reducing fatalities from most friendly bombardment around the Helldiver carrying the flag by avoiding direct fire on their position.
8% cool down on other stratagems while flag is equipped.
30 second reduction on extraction.
But enemies will be more aware and aggressive towards the Flag carrier and anyone near it.
Angel venture just needs a little more reinforcement and we can keep the boost and complete the major order dive Now!!!!
If not we lose liberation buff permanently and will lose major order!!!!
Just like a Thanos snap…it’s all gone. More times than I can count have I been securing the perimeter during an extraction countdown just to be booted unexpectedly and unprovoked . Then I find myself back at my home ship or my PlayStation Home Screen when the game completely crashes all together. I’m talking 3 out of 3 super samples on the last of a three piece mission worth 10 medals and what would be well over 1,000 exp. A fix to this could potentially slow my hair from falling out by 40%.
An AC-130 with circling air support would be sick. Probably with a similar duration and/or cool down of the 380mm
We need an eagle that is as powerful as the orbital rail cannon strike that also locks on to biggest target. Too many times did I miscalculate the 500kg bomb and missed a horde or an elite.

500 kg bomb is weak for what it is. I landed a bomb right on the back of a strider, and that wasn't enough to take it down.

Gamers tend to be younger people with not so good social skills. "Give an inch, take a mile" is something gamers often behave like. We are prone to treating developers of any kind of online media like this it seems. We are the most critical and most open about our issues and demands with them.
So if they release some kinda epic gas set that actually has a strong place in the game (resisting acid damage armour and effective toxic spraying weapons and grenades) then YOU KNOW FOR A FACT we're all going to want the exact same for fire and every other element they have planned in the game. I know this for a fact, because when we got the 95% arc resist set, the first topics of discussion were all about 'where's the fire resist set???' or other kinds of sets.

Man the HD2 community is a bunch of cry babies. I've never seen people complain so much about a game.
Destiny2? cod?? Assassins creed???? Games are filled with people that complain, nothing new.
Take out the Caps on super rares rares you name it gold medals also super credits take the cap off already I don't know why they don't take it off but that's the only reason why I stop playing the game for the past couple of days because there's no more stuff I could retain if everything's capped out
