- My god Miraculous, and specifically the fandom can be a toxic place at times. And today, I want to talk about why that is the case. Is it because of the fans? Are they the reason the show feels like wasteland sometimes? Or is it something more? Let's discuss!
This show is an example of why good story and execution must be together

I love the MLB movie. I'm biased towards the first season as I had a parent in intensive care and the show helped me cope while they recovered. (They have, thankfully) And French is nice. But the TV show is bad compared to the Netflix movie.

I was looking at some scrapped storyboard scenes and the finale of the movie was originally going to be so much cooler but I'm glad that they made Hawk Moth so menacing in it

Well let's be honest here, is there any show that's blatantly mock the viewers in the most disrespectful way other than MLB? Abusive parents were forgiven, abused children are punished, racism victims were the one who apologize to the racist, sexual assault was shown but never acknowledged, making fun of trauma for 4 seasons? Bad writing on the plot is one thing, but mocking victims is a huge spat on the face
GOD how can a show I've been a fan of for over eight years since I was like seven or eight years old be so triggering now? 😭As someone who was a little boy when my favorite character became Chloe before I even acknowledged how bad my childhood was, and her being my comfort character now with her ruined arc is so disappointing
I'm not saying there wasn't, I just didn't watch every episode of the newer seasons, so I don't know what episode you're talking about. Where was sexual assault shown?

Why do I still remember that I barely watched that episode. And there's probably more with Gabe and Tsuguri wanted Adrien and Kagami to make grandkids for them. BUT I didn't watch that episode

No, the episode where Félix tried to forcefully kiss Ladybug was the episode Félix from Season 3. In that episode Juleka, Rose, and Alya were akumatized into the Trip of Punishers. Though I would understand how you got the wrong episode as both had Marinette’s friends akumatized together

When Miraculous started, it was cute, hilarious and had a great potential plot plan, and it seemed to be heading in a good direction.
However, at some point, it stopped focusing on plot and character development and just became overly invested in the love square and shipping more.
It became so focused on the love square and ship that the episodes started to just be about the ships and the akuma battles are nothing more.
By the time they got back on track with the plots original plan, everything was already too far off course.
By then, there were too many plotholes, they had already passed checkpoints in the show that were probably supposed to be for significant plot reveals in the story like say maybe the Agreste family backstory was supposed to be flashback scenes at different points in different seasons like the first set of flashbacks in the episode FELIX, then the next ones in the episode GABRIEL AGRESTE, and then the story full story comes to a close in season 5 with Gabriel's confession.
However, that didn't happen and the Agreste arc ended up all over the place with no exact directional focus except the decline of Gabriel's mental and moral state.
There's also the fact of Character development being added then retracted.
Some characters would experience a moment of character development one episode and then the next episode, it's like rhe character learned nothing at all in the previous episode or the lesson was nonexistent at all.
There's also the fact that the show seems to forget that it has two main protagonists and not just one as it's called *Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir* but it seems to have transitioned to just *Miraculous Ladybug*
The story may mostly look from Marinette's point of view but Adrien is also a main protagonist too, and the earlier seasons looked at both Marinette and Adrien's points of view in equal measure but now just focuses more on Marinette alone.
I mean they cut him out of the finale of the Agreste arc and he's a key character of that arc.
So, Miraculous has great potential but it lost focus on where it's going.
Hopefully, with Lila's arc, they'll get back on track.
That reminds me of a certain show that fumbled the ending. Oh yes, Star vs. first 2 seasons where golden then it shifted its focus on shipping and most people pretend the last ones barely exist.
Not saying shipping can ruin a show (I’m a big fan of Shoujo anime), but if they aren’t married together and can’t elevate the characters and plot then we are left with a messy story.
So true completely what I wanted to say that why I loved miraculous MOVIE so much it was all about the two characters if they went with the movie situation and ending it would be way better

I feel another part of it is that the fans are more fans of the potential of the show rather than the show itself. I've seen it with other fandoms as well.
The "Game of Thrones" comparison was SPOT ON (No pun intended)😂. I only recently watched the entire Game of Thrones show and was Livid at the way things ended. Spent 5 hours complaining, I KID YOU NOT!😂
I watched MLB because I got curious to see how it ended for the Love Birds and especially for que "Luke Skywalker X Darth Vader" moment between Adrien and Gabe... I wasn't as mad as with Game of Thrones, but I was MAD! 😂😂😂. Terrible finale, and crazy wasted potential on the Movie, too. Yikes!
Over the years I've seen so many fan projects launch based on this show and eventually crumble without meeting their goals, because many people have left the fandom after season 3 and during season 4. It feels like what remains of the fandom is just a shadow of what it was before, just like the show itself. I've never witnessed this kind of thing for any other show/film/game.

There were at least two video game projects and many zines, voice acting projects together with comic artists, animations and so many more. So many things were started but never finished because the show disappointed too many people in the fandom.

The thing is, lost potential hurts more than something with no potential to begin with being mediocre or bad. The latter is just... the expected outcome. But when the show shows improvement and then backslides into some of the worst fuck ups the series has ever included, any potential introduced by that improvement is just.... gone.
Season 1-3... everyone just accepted that these are some neat concepts the fanfic writers and youtube animatics peeps would do better jobs with than the crew. But the series' actual team have shown they have the potential to keep up, they're just... not living up to it.

Pretty much, the high highs of the show don't outweigh the unbearably low lows the show hits, and Season 3 proved that the writers were more than ready and willing to completely *write out* progress, which makes the low lows hit even worse. Like, by the Season 2 finale, Marinette had enough confidence to kiss Adrien on the cheek and ask him to wait for her to tell him what's on her mind - her crush on him - when she's ready, but then Season 3 just ups her creepy stalker tendencies up to 11 and every other season afterwards acts like Season 2 never happened.
In Season 2, Adrien had enough initiative to investigate his own home, where he found the Miracle Tome, which eventually ended up back in Fu's possession, then to Marinette. But afterwards? Adrien never bothers looking into what his dad may be doing. Instead, that motivation goes to Felix because he wants the Graham di Vanilly rings back, which turned into wanting the Peacock Miraculous.
Then there's most obviously Chloe's arc and the concept of having a core _TEAM_ of Miraculous heroes for Paris. Rena Rouge is the only one to make a comeback because Miracle Queen makes it impossible for that core team to come back and Season 4 goes on to write Nino as a hyper-insecure baby.
The writers made it abundantly clear that they're willing to cheat their own audience out of their own investment. If you don't "get" what their going for and down just take whatever they're throwing at you without giving much thought into how it fits within their own story, then of course you'd get worn out. Why even be invested? Why care about Marinette working up the nerve to ask Adrien out when the writers can backpedal and have Marinette jump back into her stalker ways? Why care about Adrien standing up to Gabe when his acts of rebellion either aren't taken seriously or they're just attributed to someone else?
That's a universal statement that has indeed echoed throughout the fandom for the last 5 years.
This show and it’s pacing is what ruined it for me. What happened in the course of 5 seasons should’ve been 3 or 4. It felt dragged out and I was just waiting for it to end.
The characters and story really deserved better than a repetitive storyline and characters who are more archetypes than fleshed out people.

I would only add that personally, I am constantly peeved by the lack of consequences for some characters simply because (I assume is) them being “a good guy”.
For example:
Nino sharing two secret identities to who he thinks is a civilian without even telling or giving a heads up to one of those who’s identity he just gave away. *Ever.*
Or Alya with the whole Lila situation.
Just fires my game up.

This show is a perfect example of what NOT to do when writing a story
I’m not sure how much of an outsider I am, but I left the fandom and the show a few years ago, basically after they got rid of Chloe and replaced her with some made up sister. I had been with the show since it had been introduced on Netflix, and I was done, that was my breaking point. I remember thinking about how they replaced everyone and they tried to make you fall in love with this new team they had built, but they didn’t do it properly, and we didn’t feel anything towards them. Not only that, but all the Thomas stuff made me mad, many people who clearly had well intentions comments were very hurt by him and I couldn’t take that. For a while, I pirated the shows, because I didn’t want to support Thomas anymore. Then I just got so sick of the show and how terrible Marinette is, and all her excuses, and how horribly they treat Adrian as a character that I just stopped altogether. The most recent thing I watched was the movie, and it was simply because Thomas wasn’t a part of it, which gave me some hope. I really really enjoyed it and I probably will continue to watch stuff by zag, but not by Thomas. I keep hearing from people who joined the fandom later and still feel this hope that I felt for so long, and I feel like some old grandma who sees young people making the same mistake she did. I just wonder how many people are similar to me, that only really check in on TH-cam videos, and have stopped watching altogether.
I think another biggest issue here, is the fact that Marinette is a Mary Sue. I disagreed at first but after a lot of people on TH-cam pointed stuffs out, I couldn't help but notice it. They glorify Marinette to the point that CAT NOIR of all people, the second main protagonist, being pushed aside, and make it as if it's a plot relevance even though it serves NOTHING to progress his OR Ladybug's character.
She has so many issues, so I don't think she is. However, the other character's treat her like she is perfect.
on the bright side, the series has a cool combination of Sailor Moon (romantic aspect), spiderman (action packed superhero aspect), and kim possible (witty writing aspect, at least for the most part, I suppose), although apparently it feels contrasting thanks to the creative clashes between Thomas Astrucc and Jeremy Zag, particularly on the Arc direction of Chloe that still had potential and for now waiting for the following season, while in the Movie it has the right elements for an enjoyable adaptation that really sets things right of how the franchise can go as an improvement, especially the potrayal of Chloe thanks to Zag's direction, no to mention that also has the cool element of a musical disney animated film

Miraculous is more like a Magical girl show than a superheroes show , giving its have more similarities with Precure than Marvel or DC , except for maybe Spider-Man

They have good ideas but gosh do they fail at showing them, like I get leaving Adrien/Chat Noir out of season 5 finally as this can lead to a character development conflict, in which we see another side of Adrien but on the other side... This is Miraculous and we can't have nice things, and this conflict might not even happen by how incredible forgiving and open they make him, most of the time.
I absolutely love Miraculous but God it is so bad sometimes esp season 5. I just want a Shadybug spin off show now

One of the most frustrating aspects of this show for me, is that the show seems to keep forgetting plot points in canon that they’ve established. You’ve talked about this in other videos. Like when cat noir, renounces Plague because he’s feeling underappreciated by ladybug, even though he already did this in the New York special, and supposedly already learned not to do that .
The most frustrating time I think this happened for me was during the episode in season five where Marinette goes on an actual date with cat noir, and neither of them seem to recall how they have spent time together in the past. Particularly that they didn’t acknowledge the events from the season four episode when Marinette was talking about trying to confess her love for some boy, and the two of them went on a “not date”. It was just so frustrating to me that neither of them recounted past interactions with each other during that season five episode.
I guess what I’m saying is that there is “shit writing” and then there is also just plain old “dumb writing“. Dumb writing in some ways is worse than shit writing.
yeah that's basically the problem, the show sets up this stakes and plants the seeds for something great that can come up later but then they just take the laziest route and the poorest execution that just leave you feeling like you waited all this time for nothing. The chloe redemption is a good example, there had been many episodes of build up to her realizing her mistakes and trying to correct them changing for the better, yes she did stumble a few times but it was a case of one step back two step forward, and then she just does a complete 180° and becomes even worse than she was pre-start of the redemption arc and we are somehow expected to believe that was natural progression? Yes, heroes can fall and all that but not out of fucking nowhere. That's like saying it would have been made sense for batman to start killing villains after 1 random kid dies because of one of the joker's plans, not one of his kids, not one of his friend's or someone important's kids, not even a kid he was fond of for whatever reason, just 1 random kid dies because of one of his enemies and now he is all okay with killing villains and killing them using guns nonetheless
You know a show is shit when fanfictions is BETTER than the actual show itself and even if their own fans hate it as well

I'd like to see the formula change, because it's gotten stale. They keep trying to bring things back to basics, but honestly there's only so much you can do with that before it gets frustrating that no one knows anything and everything stays the same.
I love the movie but the show....well I never want to go back to that train wreck.

I have no idea why TH-cam has been recommending me these kinds of videos when I don't even like this show.
I've given this show so, so much leeway and after that disaster of a finally in season 5, I just feel like the show kicked me in the gut and spit on my face. I was ready to throw in the towel after Miracle Queen but I decided to give the show the benefit of the doubt and the season 4 finally was a great shake up to the norm! Only for them to go right back to the norm in season 5... It just makes me wish that I had trusted my gut and dropped the show after season 3...

One more thing is that giving everyone a miraculous was a bad idea they should’ve stopped at five if they really wanted to give more miraculous, they should’ve stopped at Luka, Sabrina and Kagami since these three are the ones that show up more frequently, they should have stopped at ate at max, but giving everyone a miraculous was a bad idea. Now we have 19 miraculous holders running around
I really liked Miraculous because I saw its potential. I really liked the concepts and ideas it had at the beginning. Plus, I really like Cat Noir and could see the potential of how cool his story arc could be. The show, on paper, sounded really good. But the longer the show went on, the more it wasted its potential. Episode after episode it kept getting worse. By the time the show started getting better, it was too late. At that point I was no longer watching the show because I liked it, I was now watching the show because I wanted to see how the train wreck would escalate. The show had become a train wreck that I couldn't advert my eyes from because it miraculously kept going despite running out of wheels and tracks ages ago.
If there is one way to bring the characters back that have been thrown off the show e.g. Luka, Chloe etc...
they need to come back because if the writers can find a way to make Chloe back to her nice self or make her even more spoilt there could be a chance that Chole and Lila team up using the Butterfly miraculous as we know Lila some how has the Butterfly miraculous, so then Marinette unawhere of Lilas return as someone else could get a way to get the Ladybug and Black cat then maybe giving the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculous to Chloe? That would be something I would like to see as long as Astro doesn't ruin that moment making everyone hate it as we want to enjoy the entire episode and then the whole series. What do you think Smarty Pants?
The truth is that the fans want to see the show improve, while not really acknowledging that they know damn well that it'll never improve because of Thomas Astruc's overt arrogance, and inability to tolerate constructive criticism of any kind. Plus, it's kinda just a self-insert fic if we're being honest.
I am a true super fan. I care not for the poor writing or how moments that could be better wasn't improved I still get past it and enjoy the good in the show even if it is really sensitive like the love situations in a whole.
Miraculous Ladybug’s quality is one of those graphs that keeps going up and down and up and down…So it’s no wonder…There’s only so much inconsistent funk one can take. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, that sort of thing.
The title can be said about any fandom honestly; like Star Wars.
The writers just seem to be making excuses to add more seasons to the show but have no idea what they’re doing. And one episode featuring Climate Change proves it’s Woke. It will sink in ratings as it progresses, like a CW show.
When I think about it if we got the anime version the creator would've also ruin that one cus clearly he can't direct a show like we see it with THIS one
I haven't watched the show in years now because i needed to get out of it. It felt like a drug addiction. I couldn't get enough, although I knew it wasn't good for me. I never in my life watched a romance drama so stupidly complicated. I'm so glad I'm sober from this show. the movie gave me everything i have wanted from this show for 5 years.

The main reason im a hater is because how frustrating is the wasted potential of this show
Season 1: PLOT
season 2: getting to know the miraculous and the grimware
Season 3: New hero’s
Season 4: Ladybug being guardian of the miraculous
Season 5: ladybug losses the miraculous and fight monarch
People can only put up with bad writing for so long, even the most rose tinted of glasses can't cover that up forever.
Example that great ideas and concepts shall be executed well
This video reminded me of when a Sportscaster was talking about the Cleveland Browns years ago, " You have to understand, we don't expect you to be good we want you to be watchable. Do you have any idea how low our expectations are? We don't expect you to win the Superbowl we just expect you to be better than a Division 3 High School Team!"
In this case we just want the lows to not be so damn bad it kills immersion or the meta answer is so obvious despite what was shown.

So much potential with this show. And then by the end of season 3 and beginning of 4! All went to fucking hell! Now. There’s definitely great moments. But it failed in the end. Especially Marinette who fucking forgave a terroist! Ugh!!! And Adrien! Got treated so poorly! The people who wanted him to lose Plagg! You disgust me.
to astruc marinette is his fictional child he naver had with his ex - sabine (very pathetic and shocking I know) so to him, critics are attacking his life and his family that he created

i think why miraculous isnt as good as it used to be is because back then the paris was full of people that wasnt important charecters in ladybug. i mean when marinette was in streets we could see other people/normal citisens and this make it more realistic but now marinette can just transform in middle of a park where anyone can see it but there is none in the entire paris they go to hotel but hotel is empty they go to a company but compant empty they go to friking eifel tower(only reason why milions of poeple come to paris which means people must visit it) but it is also empty expect for important charecters so it makes the show unrealistic
Even if the show does get good now, it’s too little too late if you do not give people what they want people abandoned you and when you finally listen to them, they’ll just move on and find a better thing. I guarantee you if I show similar to this gets released that show will steal all of the miraculous fans, and miraculous will just die out and be forgotten.
Honestly, I walked out of miraculous a long time ago, and my life has been better for it, I remember seeing the Ladybug v Hawkmoth episode storyboard leaked a long time before its release, felt like, 'ho, so if this is what its leading to, then don't mind me...' and lost all interest, and now I see that it kept going even after that! I was there from the beginning (Korean dub is best dub) seen all the videos, made my theories, saw fanart, read some fanfics, follow the official channel, and official website, I even got banned by Thomas on twitter, a step every true miraculous fan has gone thru. And for all of our patience, A botched release schedule and confusing watch order, the story felt very inconsistent, as the animation quality and Thomas relation with the fans never got any better, honestly, it wasn't worth it.
Miraculous takes the opposite direction compared to RWBY in my eyes. Because there is shipping and love triangle in the first three Volumes were present in the same way than Miraculous. But unlike Miraculous who has too much focused on shipping, dismissing character development, RWBY focused in his plot and became more serious from Volume 4 with Ruby travel with team JNR and Yang PTSD.
And so, the result in my opinion is that RWBY managed to keep a quite correct quality of writing (despite obvious flaws) in the next volumes.

The show could almost be forgiven for poor quality if the creator wasn't such a legitimately terrible person. I'll never forget his response to the (RESPECTFUL!) criticisms of the Miraculous NY comic where Marinette is scared of black guys and calls them looters when they are in the midst of saving lives, and their canon names are shit like 'gang blaster'. ESPEICIALLY since it was put out at a time where the right used 'looters' as a synonym for black people... ugh. Never consumed the show legally after that again, and i had both netflix and disney+ at the time.
I really enjoyed watching the series and yes there are a lot of bad decision about the story and the conclution of the 5th season like the Adrien role at the end, but we have to remember that this a invented story so everyone could make their own story has the creator did, and i also think that most of the bad things they put in the final season are a bait to let people talk, keep thinking about the whole story so people can do make discussion on social like you do on TH-cam by creating "hype" for the next season
When it comes to Miraculous a LOT of the annoyance comes from its own trailers . The show knows we want to see kissing, passion, secrets reveled, characters turned evil and it puts those moments in the trailers so you think THIS is the episode where IT finally happens .
and then it turns out to be just clumsy people falling on top of each other, or a dream, or a wax statue or a clone or some thing.
It Took FIVE seasons for the main love couple to get together too.
the show does a lot of teasing and pulling back.
There is also other simple reason - negativity sells. And sells better than positivity.
As a (small) fan of Miraculous ladybug I agree. Like so many characters are ruin because of bad ploting. Even the stories can be layed out better. There is a reason why fandoms and aus (like scarlet lady) are better than this show.
This show is a very unique case, because it can be so good yet total garbage at the same time. I wouldn't say it sucks (for it to achieve its level of popularity it had to do some things right) but many of the creative choices almost make me want to stop watching. Then there's other episodes that remind you why you love the show so much. It's the equivalent of a bumpy roller coaster. It's not every day you find a show that can make you so invested yet also make you want to kill yourself over horrendous and baffling writing choices.
I agree with all your reasons honestly, but I think it's timing in relationship to the Me Too definitely ruined it for a lot of fans as well.
For me and a lot of my mutuals, we started loving the show bc of the love square concept and then were gradually totally turned off from the pairing bc of the steady increase in Chat refusing to take no for an answer, while more and more got put on ladybug's plate.
I think we could have gotten over it, or even come to like it from a storytelling perspective if the narrative (and astruc) had acknowledged this as a character flaw that Adrien could grow from over time (similar to atla's Sokka), but instead we got astruc doubling down and insisting Chat wasn't doing anything wrong. The narrative (and creators) chose to put the blame on Marinette for refusing to give him a chance instead of Chat for sexually harassing her, and they blamed her for not trusting him instead of him for giving her extremely valid reasons not to trust him. And yeah, I'm not saying Marinette doesn't contribute her own problematic behaviors as well, but most of those went away when she was interacting with anybody who wasn't Adrien. I know I ended up rooting for her and Luka (as well as Kagami and Adrien) to be endgame because it seemed like all four of those were at their most emotionally healthy in those pairings.
I think that for a lot of women who've been told their whole lives that it's our fault if a man physically or socially retaliates after being rejected, that we're responsible for managing men's emotions for them, that we should put up with weaponized incompetence from our male partners bc "we're just so much better at it", etc it became extremely frustrating to constantly see the same narratives that were used to hurt us being reinforced for the next generation of little girls who this show claims to be trying to empower. And once you realize how much Chat's behavior lines up with the "nice guy" archetype, you can't unsee it. I think a lot of women are just done accepting misogynistic tropes as cute and harmless because they aren't, and the grown adults working on the show should know better or should at least stop claiming that this is a "Girl Power" show for brownie points because it's definitely not that.

I think the reason why Adrien wasn't in the finale is because they're building up for the reveal of his father being Monarch and himself being a sentimonster. Plus they've already shown that everytime Adrien confronts his father, he literally can't do anything because of his amok. Lila/Cerise/whoever tf she is knows the truth and will probably use that information to pull Ladybug and Chat Noir apart along with the rest of the heroes. Lila is a master manipulator and will use the lie Ladybug told about Gabriel to her advantage. Also tbh I don't think Gabriel is actually gone for good. We only saw him make a wish, but we don't actually know what his wish /sacrifice actually entails.
Anyways while I do think that the writing can be a lot better, I wanna give them the benefit of doubt and wait to judge the show till its fully over and see how it ends.
While I do love the show, I will admit that the season 5 ending sucked so hard and while I think this idea was cool, I’m not a huge fan of Adrien being a sentimonster, mainly because it is such a cool idea but they did very little with it and while the build up was amazing the big reveal was a huge let down, I really hope that Adrien’s mum ends up being just as bad as Gabriel so they can do more with the whole sentimonster storyline.
I'll admit, I haven't paid close attention to Miraculous. I watched the show up until the season 2 finale, and by that point, I was done. I wasn't interested in what the show had to offer, because I figured that if the story would keep waffling on and throwing gimmicks around to stall for time, then it just wasn't for me. I got into the show in the interim between seasons 1 and 2 for the overarching narrative and was excited for the new developments that would come with the introduction of new heroes and powerups. But then it turned out that those aspects would barely get any actual attention outside of a handful of dedicated episodes, with the majority of the season being focused on the same old episodic fair. In the end, I could only foresee the new sentimonsters that were hinted at in the season 2 finale as being yet another gimmick to prolong the show and stall the ending. I don't particularly hate the show, but I do lament how it was handled.

TBH, I'm just waiting for the show to end so that in 20 years someone makes a reboot of this show that's actually good, a la DuckTales, She-Ra, Voltron (before it died), etc. This show is a hot mess, but it is great source material.

Same here, tbh. I just like the show, I don't have any complaints as I enjoy every episode, and I love its characters. I'm just a simple girl, what can i say. I enjoy the show as it is. I know people have different opinions, and that's ok. I don't understand the hate, but maybe that's just me. I genuinely like this show.

To admit, haters are hypocrites. And I enjoy every episode, no matter whatever bothers me. I still love Miraculous and always will. I'm just a simple fan who have a miraculous life.
Honestly, I hope the show dies some time in the future and I hope that someone who is actually a skilled writer and knows how to execute plot points correctly revamps the show entire to make it what it was supposed to be. And in all honesty, i think Astruc and the other writers should be fired from the show because it's really all their fault that the show is so bad. Im sure if there were better writers working on the show the show would be fantastic and we wouldnt have all these problems so yeah, i hope in about a decade or so at least, Miraculous would have died off and thered be a new remastered Miraculous that actually makes good story decisions to actually make the show great. I mean, come on!

I don't think the show is bad. Yeah it may have some bad episodes or seasons but other shows have bad episodes or seasons every now and then. For example CW's the Flash.

At one point I was such a huge fan of this show I’d constantly draw LB/Marinette for fun. Each season I kept holding out hope they would make certain plot points make sense or characters would be developed or they would do SOMETHING with adrien but season 4 really soured everything. I watched the latest season (5) with cautious optimism but as soon as I saw the finale leak I had no intention watching the rest. Thomas Assfuck can keep boasting about his shitty kids show that had one good quality going for it (the story) that was eventually ruined by his own hands.
So really astruc has attacked people for just criticism. No mean words or harmful stuff. Just telling you flaws in the story and then he gets big baby mad and attacks people for problems we notice or things we really don't like! The show has several flaws and horrible writing for even season 4/5. It's only a little better then 1 and 3. Season 2 was better in writing although out.

The show started going downhill for me the moment someone other than Chat Noir received a Miraculous. Because oh yeah, let’s have every Miraculous be given to a wielder that Ladybug chooses because they definitely aren’t related in some way or form… like a classmate or something…
