The trip is absolutely doable. Have personally driven between Kolkata & Delhi, to & fro many times from the year 1988 till 1996. When the infrastructure of the entire country was in a dismal shape. Still, the spirit of adventure kept everything moving & inspired to ignore all the odds & perils.
