Rabs is everybody's grandfather. Amazing guy made more amazing by how humble he is. He's added flavour to the game with his personality - fantastic.
BTW how long before Marky gets the man, the myth, the legend - Billy Birmingham?

Love ya rabs !! I was lucky enough to serve Ray Warren a tin of Tooheys when he walked into bottle shop i was working at when i lived in Sydney . This was a few months after channel 10 had sacked him at the end of the 1986 season .
He was going to the Chinese restuarant a few doors up for a feed and i just said the beer is on the house mate .

I try an imitate Ray's golden voice with one of my clients who is a big league and State of Origin fan. Even though I managed to impress him, I can only dream of reaching those magic keys Ray naturally vocalises. Love ya work Ray and Mark! Your channel needs more exposure and deserves a whole lot more views.

My journo mate said to rabs at the chandler centre in the 90s “my mate reckons your a awesome caller and loves watching your games you call” - rabs replies back “he must be a great effin bloke” so that was cool to be part of a rabs conversation. The 90s man, - rabs, kfc ,coke, and weed watching manly on Friday night footy - good times!!!
