WTF is it with Artadi's levels never being high enough? She has a beautiful voice but not a strong one. It didn't even sound like her mic was on during the actual song.
I sooo agreee even in studio versions sometimes I’m like I wannaaas her more ughhh but it think it’s a mixing style for all the other thing’s usually going on mix and have to sacrifice her voice clarity at times but damnit her voice is so unique and pretty
Phone recording, if the phone has been out in the audience you probably would've been a little happier, Chances are these days whoever's mixing is doing it on an iPhone or an iPad and even with a small band they can get lost...
Really great playing. Whoever is mixing should have 2 mixes for Genevieve, one talking and one singing. If I didn't see her singing I would think there are gaps in the tune where a vocalist should have been.
Camera audio... too close to the stage to get a proper mix, that's why you hear the guitar so loud camera is standing near the guitar, could even be cancellation between the monitors and the mains,
Such a great concert, even though it sure was long ahead of Genevieve Artadi and crew coming on stage. It would have been helpful to know what the full bands lineup was ahead of time. Anyway, well worth the wait to get to where we got! Like you and your daughter, @Joe, we were three generations of our family members on hand for this one.
Pedro Martins on guitar , Louis Cole on drums , Chiquita Magic on synth (? ) - can't totally tell. Those are my best guesses. Can't place the keyboard player.
It's a shame that every phone recording of live bands these days are automagically heavily compressed by the camera software. Really tosses the baby out with the bath water lol. Amazing performance though!!
@@dbohnenbergerMy phone can do an awesome steady shot but the on phone mic leaves a lot to be desired. Just put a Rhode on it and it is right there with the best
If the camera has been back out in a sweet spot to pick up whatever the mix was on the mains the mix could have been better but you could also get somebody chattering around you and the ratio between audience noise and music would have become higher.
Yes that would be nice, but be aware that you're hearing camera audio here that's right by the edge of the stage, you're probably not even hearing the mains because of cancellations and such
Don't jump to conclusions from camera audio when it's so close to the stage, you're not hearing the mains, unless you were there in the room I don't know how you could condemn anyone.
Best band of our times playing songs from the most incredible masterpiece jazz fusion pop album of the one and only Miss Artadi
Miss Artadi is awesome.
Mega❤
that groove LC started out with sent me flying back about 20 feet. that shit was STRONG!!
Song is Black Shirts off her album this year :)
Thankyou 🙏 SO HOT 🔥 ...bass line killers...and SUPER GROOVE
Thanks!!!!
Nice chords, good groove, great energy.
As usual Knower video epic bad sound shot off somebody's flip phone. Nice snare, it was all I heard.

Another clip of the same concert is now available here: th-cam.com/video/isf7HxyexvM/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for posting! (By the way Pedro Martins' name is misspelled.)
I was there!!!! my only complaint is where was sam wilkes on bass
Sam wasn't involved with this album's material. Chiquita holds down the low end on synth.

Fuck yeah with the Ace Frehley shoulders! Or Bowie. Either way, fuck yes.

Chris Fishman????
Yes, PM, LC, CM, and Chris Fishmann, all as on the album

It sure sounds like a phone recording, but the vid seams very steady and level. Is that done automatically too?

Sound operator - ALWAYS mix to the vocal. Always.
Yes that would be nice, but be aware that you're hearing camera audio here that's right by the edge of the stage, you're probably not even hearing the mains because of cancellations and such
too bad i can hardly hear here voice but man tjis sounds good :-)
Genevieve, I didn't knew you can pronounce polish letters (at the beginning of the video). You must come to Poland, then!
Fire that soundman, Genie too low in the mix!
Like always, why ?

Why are the vocals always buried on the live stuff. Really sux!
Audio recorded on a phone too close to the stage,
;-)
