Thank you for sharing this wonderful film. I grew up in Wisconsin and waited every year for Royal American to come to the Wisconsin State Fair. It will always, in my heart and mind, remain the Greatest Midway ever.
I joined in 1978, form when they played the Maywood Park race track parking lot, before going into West Allis for the Wisconsin State Fair. Was with the show for 10 yrs, worked for independants, that were booked into the show..Good and bad times and Memories. Some great people that I got to know while there, others I choose to never remember.
I grew up attending the Louisiana State Fair in Shreveport, La..and I was always very impressed with the Royal American Shows Midway. It will always be a part of my childhood memories. Is there a dvd or film available?
