FILM DESCRIPTION:
Based on a memoir, four siblings must learn to take care of themselves as their responsibility-averse, free-spirit parents both inspire and inhibit them. When sober, the children's brilliant and charismatic father captured their imagination, teaching them physics, geology, and how to embrace life fearlessly. But when he drank, he was dishonest and destructive. Meanwhile, their mother abhorred the idea of domesticity and didn't want to take on the work of raising a family.

Ice Bear would recommend this movie, sad, funny, heart racing, this movie has the best story line as well.

Everything Jeannette said, was literally my every thought about Rex and Rosemary and why I absolutely HATED them! I can not believe that rex and rosemary had money they didn’t use to feed and take care of there own god damn kids.

My father, mother and I watched this together!! He said the dad was weird because how are you gonna have a million dollars worth of land and say”You don’t want your kids to live on handouts !!” while literally they had to dumpster dive for food and who knows what else. He also said the momma wasn’t right either because at the beginning of the film she was too busy with her painting and was disregarding her daughters hunger/appetite. Literally when she said to little Jeannette “Would you rather me make you some food that would be gone in a hour, or finish this painting that will last forever?!” He said “Oh, no she didn’t !!” I miss my daddy !! ♥️♥️
This part was not in the book. I honestly would be pissed off at them to like omg....

It was a great movie filled with brilliant performances especially brie and woody , I fell infuriated with it's failure

Brie Larson can act. I have no idea what Marvel was thinking with creating Captain Marvel because Brie can do stuff like this. If Carol Danvers was like this, Captain Marvel would have been over 90% on rotten tomatoes.

Sure made a lot of money writing about how she went from the daughter of nomadics to a prestiged journalist. If that's not a story of building from the ground up I don't know what is, and she grew up long before she should have.
