I also own both. I swear people are so weird with swearing by cultural norms as truth. We can do RAW on the A7Siii. I think the internal image looks like it comes from a mirrorless camera. If you want to take out that processing, nr, sharpening, ect...the ninja v will do it for you. The setup is still less time than it takes for a red camera to boot up. Plug and play. If you use resolve then there is an ap you need to convert the 12bit log to 16bit linear dng. No wb or iso but exposure works well. In regards to where your dr is charting at, your iso should be base or predefined anyways. You can't change that in post...just the digital gain. Anyways, it's really not any more unreasonable to shoot raw on the a7siii than riging for most other things. Anyone know if the highlight recovery tool actually works for this footage though? I never even noticed much effect from the pocket, let alone the dng footage from the a7siii. I always check the box just in case.
Also, I use the PD live air with lidar for autofocus on the pocket 6k. Probably terrible for birds but perfect for tracking people and self tapes. At leasr it won't jump focus over something random. The subject is in frame or isn't and the focus goes to the background.
I bought the Nina V a couple years ago for a little over 200 dollars with SSD and ProRes RAW license included. I had to buy the focus new. There were no used. I tried. So that cost me half as much as the pocket itself.

The Blackmagic 6k design looks like something that came out of the 80’s. Worst design out of all the cameras out there.
I own 2 A7Siii and absolutely love these cameras.
Tried a Blackmagic 6K and the only thing that was great was the image which was not enough for me to keep it.
