It's not often I'm sampling the exotic pleasures of Hashish so early in the morning over here! Lyapunov's dip into the East is a delightfully rhapsodic, atmospheric and dramatic Symphonic Poem that sits well with, say, Balakirev's Tamara or Glazunov's Oriental Rhapsody. As far as I know, Svetlanov's is its only recording. Incidentally, the only other occasion I came across a piece of music with the same title was by an obscure San Francisco psychedelic band from the 1960s called Indian Puddin' And Pipe (aka West Coast Natural Gas).....seriously!
I like the first 2 movements. SO good for interpretive dance. Thank you, Mr Merry, for the other names you've dropped into my ever deepening recognition of the sheer brilliance of my countrie's heritage 🎶

Hello! Thank you very much. I really need the notes (score) of "Hashish". Do you have it in electronic form? Thanks!
