This GSM Modem Free SMS Android App is designed for students and newbie programmers who wants free SMS functionality in their projects. There are many SMS gateways available to use in your projects but the problem is that those SMS gateways are not free to use.
Due to the expensive SMS gateway service, I decided to develop own GSM Modem Free SMS Android App for sending or receiving SMS functionality in my project. I am writing here a simple guide for GSM Modem Free SMS Android App.

Hi. I'm trying to send sms using javascript via LAN and getting this error, (blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.). Do you have an idea how to fix this?

Yes it is but only for sending sms. When you want to receive sms at your given url you have another switch button with url field.
I have done this for two different purposes.

This solution can work best for bidirectional notification services, right now I am looking for sending alerts of home shopping portal notification from the application through shortcode SIM and another requirement is for use of GPS & RFID tracker for children shoe geofencing notification services, shortcode SIM.

I have tried... there is a BUG... it can send only ONE (160 Characters) SMS and not more... what is the Technique for Sending long SMS through this method.

It will be more better if you have editable "Server Address", so that we can also send msgs from the internet, in current scenario it works only if we are in the same network.
For the security reasons, Google does not allow this. Currently we are in process where we could come with solid solution for this feature

i received the message has been sent but no sms received at destination. the sending phone is dual sim. how it deals with dual sim and how to choose the sim ?
Default sim is used always.
My problem is I have to send very lengthy messages. Can I dot it using POST method instead of GET

Hello Sir. Nice tutorial. How do you send message to shortcodes e.g send message to 6060? Currently it says phone number length inappropriate. Also how can you send single digits or message with characters e.g #? as it also says inappropriate message length. Please advise on this

I downloaded the app on my phone installed and opened it i copy the url for sending to my computer browser it says website refused to connect. i tried it on my phone it says site refused to connect also. Please help me. the computer and cellphone are both on the same wifi
Hi, you need to start server on phone application and then hit url in browser it will give you response

Hi, is it possible to automatically send the message without confirmation on the phone? Like once you request the SendSMS it will automatically send a sms.
After two or three msg it doesn't ask for confirmation

Why don't you try lesser versions. You will find helper tool for less than 8 versions
Oreo also doesn't support background services
it only works when the application is open, if I lock the phone or run in background, the server goes down. Any suggestions ?
Yes due to latest google policy after android 8 version we can not run background services.. so you need to make it active for functionality.

Yes it will work perfect on older version as background services. Helper tool is different for older versions. On github you will find two helper tools for both older versions and latest versions

Your Android server may be closed check server is running or not before sending SMS

Why developers just cannot use adb? Why there is a need for this app. It only supports text messages. What if I need to to send binary sms?
You can send binary messages.. if you are developer like java or php.. just use it instead of getting functionality of android app too.. because it is android app if you knows adb ways you can.

Yes, you need to use country code with number. One thing more i want to mention here that you test your sms functionality in helper tool. Give it sms permissions. Check that these applications are running in background

This will work on local network. If you know good networking then you may config with your live server

Yes follow the link and check pre requisites. You need supporting application installed your device. You will find link of GitHub where apk file is available
