What absolute fun!! How innocent and smart. It would be so nice if today High School students were so well dressed and polite. These days most of them look like trash balls!! Oh, and too bad the cars don't look so beautiful anymore either!
They used what God gave them and all of us - our mouths and face to face greetings. Oh yes - we did have telephones (dial) as well as running water, indoor plumbing and electricity. Things were fine and life was a lot simpler. Wait until the world of 'beam me up Scottie' becomes a reality some day (if it ever does) and the people then will ask "How did people ever exist with only smartphones"? Everything is relative. Enjoy the world around you!!!

Wow we sure dress awful now a days. Crazy how other races didn't exist back in the 50s. lol We didn't do many things right back then, especially addressing real life problems. But we sure knew how to keep up appearances. Thats one thing we did really well.
