You've got a badass combo, a mixup or two, where do you go from here? The key is finding your habits, finding where you might need more openings, and going from there! Definitely happened with my Millia, but my Nagoriyuki's been steadily adding more tools over time and Gio always needs more tricks to push people to challenge you/get thrown!

I'm struggling to get going in this game. I'm relatively new to fighters (lockdown was my intro with mk11) I find the pace of ggs totally overwhelming for my tired old mind haha. I'm only assigned to floor 2 ATM and it's always empty so I have go upto floor 4,5 or 6. Everyone is so much better I'm not able to learn anything as I don't even get a chance to play the game!
Still keep coming back tho as it's such a fun game (in the hands of someone who can play it)
I liked your analogy of learning the game being like learning a musical instrument. That's really helped, as someone who has played guitar 20 plus years. Perhaps ai just need to keep pressing buttons for a while.
    Great content!

Ay mostly it's sparing with better players and picking a character you like and sticking to them. With more matches I'll understand your character and how they match against other characters and what combos or inputs to use against them. If u're on PC, I can help ya out.

@@GypsyDanger2000 I've come a long way since that post! Switching to a hitbox and sticking with Anji and I'm now hovering around floors 8/9 and having a lot of fun. Really glad I stuck with it in the just the way you have said.

It's funny seeing how the Sty intros have become a habit but hey, they're solid intros lol.

I need a combo and a mix up before I get "here".
Seriously though, I'm just trying to accrue experience facing all the characters. I do find my skills get a boost whenever I mirror atm because I learn new tricks as I get my arse kicked.

The ability to shamelessly steal from your opponents as well as higher level players is honestly one of the nicest power boosts in gameplay you can get. Another tip is if a streamer or such says they don't have an issue in a certain matchup and they're at a higher level than you, try to probe about why - you might be missing some key info they have that'll help a ton.
