lost girl okay so I kinda beg to differ. Though I prefer Sid, I love Varun too so this isn’t going to be an answer bashing him, you or anyone.
So Varun, hasn’t had any flops because he chooses commercial comedies/remakes/dance films/etc. He is amazing at what he does, and he keeps the audience entertained. He has done a couple experimental here and there tho too.
Sid chooses films that are content-based, or films that are meaningful and teach a lesson of some sort; kind of like Malayalam films.
Unfortunately, the audience is more attracted to the commercial bit. I love commercial films too don’t get me wrong, but I love content-based ones too.
So film-wise, as to who picks better films, Sid is the clear winner.
As for who makes smarter career decisions, Varun is the clear winner.
So hit or flop doesn’t determine the skills of an actor entirely; rather their choice of films and smart career decisions.
