As a player who loves gunpowder more than anything, this DLC is a dream come true. Ikit and Chorfs have been consistently the most fun I’ve had in campaigns, Empire here we come
I wonder if Elspeth has her own 'nuke missile'? If so, then she is going to be really popular.

Whoever is doing the editing on these videos has got some skill. These are great.
Elspeth is one of the empire’s greatest heroes but she’s unscrupulous. When she commanded Theodore Bruckner to kill Tamurkhan she was effectively sending him to die. Somehow she knew that Tamurkhan could possess a new host but instead of warning Bruckner she gave him an amulet that would protect him from dark magic but it’s true purpose was to incinerate him when the possession process began.
Well it did protect him from dark magic

Awesome! I hope you guys will introduce even more unit to the Empire roster in the future (in form of Boris campaign and Ulrican units) so we can have one huge empire experience and super fun multiplayer campaigns.

The upgrades to helstorm rocket batteries are fun. From "More Rockets" to "More Rockets!!" to "MORE ROCKETS!!!". Makes total sence and makes me happy.
I like how Theodore Bruckner is in the game. The Empire’s version of the Mountain.

I've noticed that there's a campaign thingie where you can't get diplomacy penalties for trespassing, maybe a good implementation aswell for Ogre Kingdom when an army wants to go for a contract.
I love it all! Including a new Dark-ish magic Heroine of the Empire
Elspeth is an interesting choice to take for a legendary lord considering she's been a staple of Mixu's legendary lords mod, one of the most subscribed mod for the game.
This focus on artilleries and guns though looks great.
I love that guy in a Crow's nest of Marienburg Landship and his animation, when he looks through his monocular.

Finally some GOOD Warhammer 3 content. This is what people want, mechanics, units, collecting stuff, upgrading stuff and building things.
Every legendary lord should have at minimum this level of engagement with more systems the better.

The new units look great especially the amethyst units, handgunners in full plate armor, just awesome.
Really? I was only disappointed with the Ironsides . Everything else was awesome. I was hoping to get the volley guns with BAYONETS from the trailer , remove the swords we've advanced further . It's a spear combined with a firearm the two most deadly and common weapons. Plus they already exist in game and in the lore . I was hoping for a 120 upgraded free company sport of deal that have spearmen stats . Halberds faze out spears in game , bayonets should faze out halberds once you get further
Spearmen and handgunner stats added together. That way we also have a faze out for handgunner s late game
@@kidmanwalters4236 I meant the amethyst handgunners with full plate armor look nice, would indeed be nice to see some gunners with bayonets.
Dude, just imagine having different animations for different attacks on walled settlements like: when wood elves/drycha would storm the walls, they would grow roots to climb the walls, perhaps do damage, and use them as ladders, instead of using regular ladders...

You know, I had no idea you guys were making a faction just for me. Literally this is hitting every single happy brain chemical node. Lady faction leader, magic, purples aesthetic, guns, more guns, dragon mount, death magic (i.e. purple magic), and just being a weird lady who helps people but is kinda strange.
So you're telling me all these units get special versions with different purple vfx while grudge settler units look exactly the same as regular dwarf units? And human engineers get tanks and a mechanical horse as a mount while dwarfs dont get shieldbearers, oathstones or even an engi gyro mount? That's a grudgin'

I just realized that this could've been the best opportunity to put the Elemental Incarnate of Death in the game since Kislev got the Incarnate of Beasts

I'm so glad that CA has actually listened and if giving us some high quality content worth the cost of entry.
If they animated way more syncronized fighting and finishing animations on each units and race to represent them respectfully, i'd buy all of them

Great campaign and great rework on the empire!
Little things i've noticed playing Elspeth campaign, her first quest requires too many kills to finish.
And her second quest is ridiculously hard. Like ENDGAME battle super HARD.
The legendary hero quest also requires too many cavalry kills to unlock. Especially considering its not a faction where you focus on using cav.
You focus on frontline melees, gunners and arties.
Hmmm, "von Draken", "doesn't take vampiric attrition", "ageless", I wonder whether she's on first name basis with the von Carstein...
Honestly this DLC looks really fun, well done. Empire is my fav to play so I really look forward to this.

Really excited for this one. Just gotta wait about a month or two after release for mods to update and then we're set!
my number one wish for total war games is to have custom campaigns where you can tweak options like how powerful factions start and are, and chose starting locations or stages in the campaign so u dont always have to start from turn 1 and build up. the reason im bringing this up here is cos i dont like that gelt starts in cathay, that seems so weird to me, i want to play as gelt in the empire lands :(

I'm all for having these higher fidelity battle animations, but, does anyone else feel like the anime blade lines and power flips that have been more common recently clash a bit visually with everything else?
