The story of the game is about the last surviving Sifu Bloodline on the search for his\her father's killers. The heir is given a special amulet that gives the user another chance at life when killed, but in exchange for youth. And the goal is to hunt down the killers before succumbing to old age. There are two different endings to this game depending on your actions in game.
The main character must be built different. He survived getting his throat cut by a grown man, and no one was around to help him. Then he grew up and is now able to beat entire gangs and take revenge.
"Boy, I don't know what they talkin' bout. Let me fight. Where do I fight at, bruh?" That is what I would expect from a true savage to say. He will get his wish. There's a lot of fighting in this game. =D
You actually did great. Better than most people I've seen play it so far. It's like 5 levels and the game is designed to make you learn til near perfection. But yes keep going. Also some levels have shortcuts that will allow you to skip certain fights. Finally, the older you get, the stronger your attacks, but you be come more vulnerable.

Health Gain on Takedowns is pointless. Structure Gain is what you really want. You can block more and gain structure back through avoiding attacks. For skills, you should try to get Environmental Mastery, so you can use everything at your disposal to defeat enemies, it’s really useful for groups, especially. Invert Throw is also good, because enemies will try to swarm around you, but Invert Throw allows you to get out of the center of a group. Charged Backhand is a great skill to invest in, as well. It works great on every enemy (Bosses excluded) and stuns them. And an extra tip that I found useful when I play, whenever you get an hit on an enemy, use your directional throw to throw them into walls, off of stairs, banisters, and into other enemies. It also makes them drop whatever weapon they’re holding in their hands. Throwing them into walls does extra damage and throwing them off of any type of elevated platform (like a small, ankle high platform) does crazy damage. It doesn’t matter how small the elevated platform is, it does a lot of damage if you make them lose balance and fall over it. These are just a few things that I found helpful in my play through of ‘Sifu’. Hopefully, it helps. If you see this. (Also, use the Death Counter reset whenever you need it and can. It resets any amount of deaths you have to zero) And remember that games like this are meant for you to lose, it’s just about learning how to lose less.
You can redo levels to keep young and there are shortcuts in the game to go straight to the boss after you reached them once. Fighting people gets you xp though
