Story of Hadhrat Sulaiman AS : هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي : Part 1
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِمُلْكِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي اِسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى ال محمد و بارك وسلم
اما بعد
we continue about ikhlas and how our amals will be weighed
hadhrat Shaikh RA has put down 3 conditions for this.. one is that we do that amal only for the sake of Allah Ta'ala.. 2nd is that we were able to do this amal with the taufeeq given to us by Allah Ta'ala
we should keep this in mind that we only did this amal because of his taufeeq.. not my own strength.. 3rd point is to hope for the reward in the hereafter..nothing in this world
we can study the story of Hadhrat Sulaiman AS and qaroon.. Hadhrat sulaiman AS said when seeing the bounties of Allah Ta'ala, هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي
He was given such kingdom that no other humans hasv been given, he ruled not only the humans, but Jinns and birds and others
Once he was observing his people and those present.. he realised that bird Hoope (هدهد) is absent.. he was unhappy and said to reprimand him
soon, hoope arrived with news of a kingdom nearby ... ulama have explained here that even though Hadhrat sulaiman AS had such great kingdom, but his knowledge doesn't encompass everything... it is only Allah Ta'ala who is All Knowing
Quran - Surah No. 27 النمل
Ayah No. 22
أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
فَمَكَثَ غَيۡرَ بَعِيۡدٍ فَقَالَ اَحَطْتُّ بِمَا لَمۡ تُحِطۡ بِهٖ وَ جِئۡتُكَ مِنۡ سَبَاٍۢ بِنَبَاٍ يَّقِيۡنٍ‏ (22)
Translation:
Then the bird did not take long and said (to Sulaiman), "I have discovered what you did not, and have brought to you a sure information from Saba (Sheba).
we will continue the story over next few days ia... we learn the power and greatness of Allah Ta'ala
we ask Allah Ta'ala to grant us all the ability to practice upon what we have heard. Ameen
سبحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا انْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتْوبُ إِلَيْكَ
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
