Love your videos so far. I have a suggestion for a future show. You should contact Mike Patey. You could do several episodes on the planes he’s built and or modified. The man is an aviation genius.
Great video and experience Emma! The Luscombe I flew some was also polished and had the observer doors. This video brought back some good memories for me. 👍🏼👍🏼
Wow Thanks for this video !!! My Dad bought an 8E Luscomb used in about 1950... it was sold before I was born but I've always wanted to fly one. I started my lessons at 15 in a 150, soloed at 16 an I'm 62 now, Mike seems really great and good lord what a plane ❤❤
I’m a real fan of the Luscombe ever since years back I hand a friend owner of an 8 model I went and flew with. Both examples in this video are awesome and Emma… you the FLY-Girl baby! At age 72 I’m ending my power flying finishing this year in the Bailly Dragonfly towing hang gliders, both trail wheelers but, so different. Back to the pure joy of Hang Gliding and soaring.
Nice vid. My dad soloed in an 8-B. I lived in Ypsilanti near Moody Larson's airport on Rawsonville Rd! Very cool to see such enthusiasm for a great airframe
those were some great planes. I lived in Arkansas for many years with the military, but I never saw that many light aircraft flying around. I hope all that has changed. It has some beautiful forests and mountains that would be great to fly over. Thank You.
I did my flight review in a O-300 Luscombe - what a rocket ship!!! Had 20-lb. lead in the tail to counterbalance the engine! I can only imagine an O-360!
Wow... I'm glad your engineering friend was a big help to fix the conditions..for flying it...❤😊
I love these unique aircraft you keep finding, and your production keeps getting better with every video. Awesome Job!
Thanks a lot!
Emma you are the best and a very good pilot. Love your videos.😊

What a neat plane. I have a 1947 8a with the 100 hp upgrade.
For me, it was a DELIGHT to have Larry fly my freshly rebuilt T8-F with the 160 HP Lycoming!! Great fun, thanks Larry!!!

Man I want a Luscombe
I wish he had a dyno test to confirm his horsepower numbers.
Agree.. but I'm happy to put it up againt anything comparable for weight and cubic inch 😉
Good presentation, thanks. (The in flight) "Bad sound makes good video look bad."
Absolutely loved this video!! The ride in the silver Luscombe made me feel like I was there with ya! Awesome job Emma!
Love the luscombe
That was a fun flight.
How did you keep the wings on it at 200mph? What structural upgrades were done?
Luscombe was my first airplane journey as a young boy in the 50's ....
Hey how did Mike get your picture on the side of his Luscombe before you went flupying with him?😊
Hey Mike!!
Nice!😊
200mph in a luscombe must have been making some whistling noises lol
LOL at a 20,000 foot service ceiling 😂
At 15,000 msl, it's still climbing at 1,200 fpm pitched at 95mph indicated 😉
What prop is he using?
👍
fkg awesome!
Where in Nebraska is Mike?
👍🏼👍🏻❤️
Holy Shit Emma! 😂
The silver one is a bad little plane
