We can't think of a better Woman to celebrate and honour than our very own Sinéad O'Connor. This is our version of 'Mandinka'.

Released in 1987 at the tender age of 21, 'Mandinka' unleashed an unquestionably gutsy, bolshy and fearless young Irish woman to the international stage.
For us (the choir), Sinéad O'Connor symbolises 'Fearlessness' not just as a women but as a human being. She isn't afraid to speak out against inequality or injustice and has often been denomised and suffered because of it. She is authentic, true, bold and resiliant.
She was a very young women in a man's world when she burst onto the scene and whether you share her views or not.... there is no denying that this is a women that is true to herself, will steer her own ship and will have the fortitude to do it regardless of the potential backlash.
We honour and thank Sinéad and all women today whatever path in life you've chosen- mothers, daughters, grandmothers, sisters, wives, aunts, nieces, girlfirends, friends. We love and admire you all 🧡
