In my opinion Faf just takes too long at the breakdown to deliver a pass. He's still the best scrumhalf South Africa has at the moment, but I remember the days of Fourie du Preez and how quick he was to get the ball to the backs after every phase

😂 Sale are as good from 1-8 as 9-15 already. They have England and SA internationals throughout their pack.. That's the best two packs in the world.... Yes they beat a Bristol second string well with all their big guns playing, and as much as I love what Steve Diamond and the Sale coaching staff are building they have a good while yet to be anywhere near consistent enough to challenge a full Strength Exeter, and even a full strength Bristol.. Exeter second string beat Bristol big guns last week, that should say something about their strength in depth.
Tolly T they have the team sheet in the forwards but the backs have clicked in that special way that everyone looks for. It was more a comment on how good the backs are at the moment than the forwards not being up there. Like you said they need a bit more time but it looks like it might happen.
If the referee knows that the player is holding the other player in the ruck then why isn’t the first player penalized???????
No it's just slows their ball down
Because the cheating prick is only slowing down his own team’s attacking ball. He’s only holding the other player in the ruck to try and con the referee into penalising that player.
