No wonder this show is filled with comments about auditions, it's absolutely perfect for High Schools. Pugsley can be played by a 9th grader(for the younger look), Wednesday can be played by a 9th grader or 10th grader, Morticia, and Gomez can be played by 11th or 12th graders, and Grandma and Fester can be played by 12th graders. It's great for showing age differences and it has a range of ages for everyone to play.

In our show we do have pugsley played by a 9th grader, but a 9th grade girl, because we didn't have enough males to audition, and lurch is being played by an 8th grader.
Last night during rehearsal, after our Gomez sang "you have to see the world in shades of grey", our Morticia said "50?" and everyone, including me, laughed so hard! (I'm playing the flapper ancestor btw)
