Birthed from an unknown virus, sickness, parasite, or pathogen. But what you do know is what they do to the human form. Turning those into monster's that resemble the Necrophorms from Dead Space, the Biophage in Callisto Protocol, and the Ridden from Back 4 Blood, all attacking you and hunting you...
