@@robyponticelli4273 Yes, since he left Iron Maiden (from 1994 on), his solo albums were always better than Maiden's. Mandrake Project is way better than Senjutsu
@@SignOfCross really do you think Mandrake Project is better than Senjutsu? I respect your opinion, I also like a lot bruce dickinson solo albums since he left Iron Maiden. I prefer a little bit Senjutsu than Mandrake Project, but talking about wonderful albums with wonderful qualities in my opinion we are talking about bruce with Iron maiden and bruce solo album. I think Senjutsu and book of souls are better than the last Iron maiden album after brave new world! Perhaps you could think I have this opinion because I like bruce dickinson and Iron maiden but I am also objective! I think this but it is my opinion, I respect yours!
Yeah, I think Mandrake Project is WAY better than Senjutsu… Senjutsu has some good songs, but Maiden became so “prog” to my taste. They have a lot of long songs, I miss the shorter ones from the 80's, like Children of the Damned, Aces High, Prowler… it looks like Steve Harris doesn’t like to compose that way anymore. In the other hand, Bruce still does that, he still write shorter songs. It’s not only about the song's lengths, but the 2024 Iron Maiden doesn’t sound like they used to be. If you take somebody who doesn’t know Iron Maiden and puts a Senjutsu song to play and then a Powerslave song next, he’ll say those songs are from different bands.
But I do recognize Dickinson's older songs on the new ones. When I listen to “Many Doors to Hell”, I can feel some Tattooed Millionaire on it; the same goes for Mistress of Mercy and Skunkworks. That’s why I put Dickinson's solo band over the nowadays Iron Maiden
