Manchester United fan here, my connecting flight @ Schipol got delayed, so I took the opportunity to visit Amsterdam Arena. It's an incredible stadium, and Ajax is an amazing and authentic football club. Despite their difficulties this season, I have a lot of admiration for the history and identity of Ajax FC.

I hope he can offer the team some experience, leadership and calm. Besides, he might help to firmly reestablish English as the main dressing room language, which is needed for such an international squad. Sure, there are of course plenty of Dutchmen, but other players won’t be likely to keep up.

Ajax normally tries to balance experience with talent. Sadly the last two year the leadership failed badly and sold anyone who wanted to move to bigger leagues. Our team at the moment is like a glorified youth team. Not expecting to much as even hendo can't perform miracles but hopefully a step in the right direction.
