That’s a fan motor mate not a heater matrix, heater matrix is behind the dash , if it only blows cold you’ll need to the the heater box out and replace the foam on the flaps!

I highly recommend a good set of coilovers my mk2 jetta with the 1.8t definitely loved them

Although there's a place local that as started to specialise in air ride so atm are super cheap if you wanted them to freshen your boot up?. But great video

That isn’t a heater matrix, it is the heater blower fan. If it only works on three it means the thermistor in the resistor pack attached to the fan is blown. Could you post or send me a picture of the bulkhead over gearbox side of the engine so I can see the heater supply hoses?

Check the power supply to the switch, the thick black/yellow. Do the wipers, headlights, glovebox light and heated rear window work?
