I keep seeing people who pay 8 dollars for duochromes or 20 dollars for multichromes from other indie brands without questioning themselves complain about Glam-Shop not being even more dirt cheap... Please use the energy instead to complain about the cushy profit margins of Adept, Clionadh etc. Even with the 'high' shipping costs Glam-Shop is on average so much more affordable compared to indie products of the same calibre.
I would say that it's important to critique both high shipping prices AND price gouging shades. I honestly don't feel like it has to be an either or and instead it should be a yes and.
Unicorn is the dupe for Glam Rush from Shine By SD ! 😅 I konw all the dupes because i try to not buy them over and over again but GS is super affordable compared with other Indie Brands, for Europe ! I love that they have sales all the time throughout the year! I love my small collection of GS, Zigzag, Toxic , Steroyd, It's a Hit, Virtual Pink, Wektor , Abracadabra, Ficus, Acrylic Ice, Scandal etc. ,soooo many beautiful shades 😊, also Angel Wings from Looxi is very similar to Steroyd from GS!
Wow it sounds like you have a stellar collection! I was regretting not getting Asteroid but honestly I'm glad I didn't if it's a dupe for Angel Wings!
@@kathrynbbeauty i have over 60 Glam Shop eyeshadows matte and shimmers, some palettes, empty magnetic palettes and the their glitter primer ! 🙈 They also have a looot of sales during the year , almost every month actually, they announce on their I G 🤗
I own a ridiculous amount of Glam Shop and keep going back because their palettes are amazing. And their singles are better than shadows 2,3,4 times as much. I really love sparkle though and really love all the different kinds of formulas they have. I am kinda obsessed 🤷♀️🥰🥰

I am a huge glamshop fan now that I live in the EU! Last time I was in Poland I was able to shop their shades in person and it was magical ✨ I would love for them to come out with more multichromes/turbo glows soon

Whaaaat?! I didn't even know that they were in stores in Poland!! More Turbo Glows might get me to actually pay for their expensive shipping again haha!

I am guilty of making several Glam Shop orders from 2021 to now. I justify that crazy shipping.costs because my orders.were.during great sales so the overall per shadow costs was.actuslly quite affordable. I have a great variety across most of the shadow types. I did not though get any of the multichromes because I knew I would not really like them. I had tried one of the multipastel shade and was not pleased so I stay away from their multi shades. It took me.awhile to warm up to the sparkliness of GlamShops shadows as they are thinner shadows than what I was used to. As such, I was in love with the Velvets (Velours) and Marbles first. I actually also love their mattes even though they area bit soft and powdery but you can easily repress them if they start to call apart. I recommend the darker shades over the lighter shades. The GlamShop has such a huge collection that you really have to watch out for getting similar shades, especially if you are like me and trying to make the most of each order by filling your asked with a everything that catches your eye.
You are right that the affordability of the shadows balances out the price of the shipping. I watched a LOT of videos about the multipastels when they came out and it seems like no one really liked them, but I'll say that it seems like formula wise the actual multichromes seems very different. I don't have both to compare but based on what I saw in others videos, they seem different. I'm a little scared to purchase their mattes because all of the ones I had shattered and I'm terrible at repressing haha! Next time I'll have to be more careful with not getting dupes!

Oh also I have all (I think all of them at least) the crystal shades, they are all that super high shine and more creamy, but not all have a deeper base. I got them on mega sale too, so for the price it was insane to have that finish. I also find they do not crease badly on me despite being creamier formula, and my hooded oily lids eat everything that it is really saying something!
Oh man it's good to know that the others have a lighter base! I'm taking a break from the brand right now, but if they ever earn me back as a customer those will be the first ones I check out!

‼️Purple Chakra is a dupe for the new glaminatrix Bustling from IN TO THE NIGHT palette, and both shade you mentioned you can find almost identical dupes for them in the new THE PASTEL ROSES UK collection that just drop into the market , and Trifle is dupe for Fairy Floss, and Pixi also from THE PASTEL ROSES UK
Oh that is so good to know! I didn't know that Pixie had a dupe from Glam Shop! I own that shade and the highlighter yellow seemed to be pretty unique but more and more brands coming out with dupes for it.
Oh! A shade that looks like it might be a dupe for that bright yellow gs shade is flare from pretties for your face.
That's interesting! I think that it may be more similar to something like Fairy Fire from Devinah, but I do think that they have something similar at their core!
I followed MartesMakeup on youtube's swatches and recommendations of glamshop she has so much content showing probably over a hundred different shades from various collections, and with that I made a huge purchase a while back and am so happy with my order. I highly recommend her content in general if you haven't checked her out yet! I really want to try their holo shades, they weren't in stock back when I placed my order. Sounds like shipping has gone up since I last ordered though 😬

Unicorn is also a dupe for electrum craft iirc or it might be called conjuring, I'd have to go double check. My fav shades from glamshop are tuil, wata curkrowa, zigzag, rio, um & there are a handful more but their names are escaping me rn because they're in polish. I unfortunately stopped purchasing from gs due to them raising shipping costs so high, but if they ever lower them im definitely purchasing again! 😅

i have so many shadows from them but i think Unicorn is one of the newer ones since I've never seen it before. i NEED it ;__; also the way you pronounce "nieoczywisty" would be "nyeocheeveestuh" and it means "unobvious". also, idk if you;re into that type of shadows, but they have multichrome sparkly shadows with holographic particles in them. i own 3 of these and i have never seen anything like it from any other brand. my mind is blown every time i take them out to play around with them :P
Thank you for sharing how to pronounce nieoczywisty! I would have never been able to get that right without the phonetic pronunciation! I've tried the holo shades and found that they irritated my eyes, but I'm glad that you love the formula!

It's a combination of a green limited edition Expressie shade with the KBShimmer shade Frequent Flyer on top. Highly recommend that shade, it completely transforms any base.

Nieoczwisty I think closest English translation is "subtle" but maybe there is better word? It is pronounced like 'nee otch vistay' but stress pattern is like when Americans say (sorry for this) 'biatch' so... sorta like 'biatch this day', if that helps? 'W' is always pronounced 'V' in Polish because there is no 'V' in Polish alphabet.

@@kathrynbbeauty I am glad it was helpful! Btw, Polish is a Slavic language and not much in common with German or Nordic languages. It is most similar to Slovak/Czech/Ukrainian but probably most difficult European language for English speakers.

Haha oops! I never know how to say the prices correctly since they don't have "cents" like the US.
@@kathrynbbeauty they do! 1euro=100 cents! And remember that the euro and the us dollar are pretty close in value so there shouldn't normally be a big difference between the 2 numbers, ie 3eur equals to 3.29usd today! 😝
