    I love karrine. She is an amazing woman that has been through a lot, is open about it because she knows it will help others as well as herself, but refuses to let the past hold her back. She is incredibly intelligent, a great business woman and a wonderful writer.

    For a while I thought wow she's really intelligent. Now I'm starting to think this lady is probably nuts and embellished a lot. I think she wants to be as great as she says she is. And she's washed out. She doesn't recognize she's black. Shes contradicted herself in many of her interviews in regards to her personal self. Not her life events but who she is as a person

    She reminds me of who I used to be... she pretends her life away. Convinced that she is superior yet inside she is seeking approval... sad, really sad. Lots of women cook, write, keep a man happy, etc. She enjoys making herself feel 'bigger' than life yet while appearing humble... I am too familiar with her issues...and scheme. I'm old now so I can see myself in her. (32 years married) ... She'll wake up one day and realize how so many women are JUST as amazing... God Bless!

      Right on, Kimm. You hit the nail on the head with your comment. Karrine tends to wear her ego on her sleeve. She tells numerous interviewers that she's AMAZING. Sounds like she's very full of herself.

    It really suprises me, that when ppl hear someone story they still judge them. Its her story and her perspective. Ppl no matter if its the truth or not you'll only understand from your perspective. When she talks about not believing in something or not letting it bother you,does not mean its not moral ;our heavenly father is always instilling that trait in us. Its called forgiveness, especially forgiving our selves .in her interview she did mention that,especially the part realizing that what she,was doing she not doing any longer and have forgave herself and move on! many women find themselves in that position, becomes depressed or can't get out! one reason they dont forgive themselves. Because you still remember what and how. doesn't mean a person should continues too live in it.this woman didn't and kudos for her and channel her energy elsewhere using her past .you can only kill a person once,she has choose to live life another way and its more prosper this way.

    I was so fascinated by her intellect. But she was hardly raised in the islands and hardly raised by her mother and never knew her father so how does she have so much island perspective. And on top up that the islands were a huge part of the african diaspora

    • @Ebony5001
      @Ebony5001 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      She knew her father she talked about him when she was little and then she went to live with them in her teens for a little bit then he kicked her out and then she was on her own but she’s talking nonsense about the island thing

    I wonder if she forgot that her son is black? ...(that's only if Kool G Rap is her son's father like she claims) She might wanna rethink the idea that She doesn't experience African-American Struggles? Cause even IF she thinks She doesn't have those same issues...I promise you honey, your son most certainly WILL.....I get the feelin' she has a hard time keeping it 100! SMH

      Right on, Nellie. That comment of yours speaks volumes. Karrine tends to make herself sound she's the most AMAZING person on the planet. She does not create miracles nor make wonders happen. The Heavenly Father does that. I think this lady has a huge ego. She needs to bring it down a notch, stay humble and remain focused on her goals and dreams.

    • @gwendolynmcmillan7150
      @gwendolynmcmillan7150 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I said the exact same thing...Its shocking that someone would even ask her advice on how to snag/keep a husband....that was crazy to me, when its obvious that she HASN'T mastered KEEPING a man/husband thus far! Honestly the only question I would have for her & ONLY SHE could answer THIS for me is...(OK...drumroll... hold on to your wigs) but here goes.....How do you give a blow job for hours & to the point your dam nose bleeds???

    No she didn't say she wrote a relationship book. She has never had a relationship and for sure never a healthy one. Having sex with every guy you can to get ahead isn't a relationship. She had no relationship. A man just having sex with you is not a relationship. She's so lost. And doesn't have a clue.

  • @tinatally3278

    "I'm an author....I'm a writer." That's not how you earned notoriety. Were the book not about the life and times of promiscuous nights with some of the country's most noted rappers, it would not have sold one copy. My only issue with her is that she tends to try and ignore her blemishes. Own it. Admit it. "Confessions" gave her the platform that she needed to succeed, and I'm not against that. But don't pretend as though Karrine "the author" weighs more than Karrine AKA "Superhead" the vixen.

    • @8oxyjenn
      @8oxyjenn 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tina Tally i just thought the same thing... she is a shallow self uplifting thinking she is all that ... crazy girl...saying alot of islanders wernt slaves???? what? she is delusional...

    • @southernredbone5529
      @southernredbone5529 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think she owned it by writing these books....she knew how she would be perceived, by most....but she's out and about not hiding or shame still making moves...

    • @tinatally3278
      @tinatally3278 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      southern redbone There's no question that she's not hiding. But I've watched several interviews where she wants to completely disassociate herself from her claim to fame; the infamous "Superhead." That's apart of who she is. That's what she's known for. She often becomes upset in interviews when people ask her about the luster of her glory. Were it not for "Superhead" the vixen, who would know Karrine the author? That's all I'm saying. But I get your point too.

  • @TTSantiago821
    @TTSantiago821 10 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    She will always have an issue with whatever she says and tries to do because of her very dismal past and the non humble spirit she seems to operate from. I don't think she cares about it becuase she has ocntinued to do what she does and well since people buy into it. But I imagine it must get difficult at times to know the foundation of why anyone knows you, cares or has given money to your "movement"....was from you laying on your back, or being on your knees.

    @5.50 question time.
    Gave me a new side and insight to Karrens intelligence directed in the right way and productively answered.
    Bet the interviewer was expecting a stereotypical feminine pretence answer, but the real answers Karrine gave her was strangely unusual for her to wrap around her man game dominance neurotransmitters.

    I am happy to receive more knowledge about life from her. However the comment 'island girls do it better' stung, almost totally cancelled out everything good she had to say, made me question her judgement. Who does it better is not in any black woman's best interest. If she wants to really talk about history let us not talk down to other sisters for the past they've endured, but rather unite and heal, sharing what we've learned along this path. Still, Karrine thanks for your perspective.

However, I DO DISAGREE WITH HER on how she views marriage. Marriage is a holy matrimony between a man and a woman. 2 ppl should not be sleeping together or living together UNLESS THEY ARE MARRIED!
