A way to get your brown sugar back to being softer is putting some water on it and putting it in the microwave for a few seconds :) be careful with how much water you do though and be sure to crush it and mix it around the best you can before deciding if you need to put more water. My mom threw away a whole bowl of brown sugar because she didn't know you could soften it 😔
