You could make an entire video series just about Aku. It would probably be over 30 minutes or even an hour depending on how much detail you get into it.
I'm watching this and thinking how they managed to make Aku the perfect villain. He's evil but he's entertaining. He's something that I would fear yet he's a total goofball. This kept him from being boring and one note and was an emotional whiplash to deal with. It's like you walk up on him and he's on the phone fussing with customer service because his internet is out again. Then suddenly he stops to wipe out a village Jack just helped then comes back and gets back on the phone upset because he's been put on hold. He's like if Ice King was really a dangerous threat or if Doofenshmirtz didn't have Perry stopping him.
He reminds me of the Joker. He's funny as hell and entertaining to watch in the batman cartoons but if I met him in real life I would be pissing my pants.
Samurai Jack has always seemed to me the definition of "cool": a cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic world ruled by a Lovecraftian being, with Jack, a warrior from thousands of years ago trained in almost all combat styles, fighting daily against killer robots that want to hunt him down.
I theorize that the potion cast into the pit of hate was concentrated Humanity, their logic being that Humanity was inheritely good and good is all that can destroy pure void. However, humanity is not "good" per se, so all they did was grant this creature a consciousness.
How's the audio quality? I did a lot of shifting in terms of the settings 😅 Also sorry if I sound stiff, haven't been doing voice work as often as usual
I remember a video a while back about aku vs the lich from AT. In the end it said that the lich had a more power overall but the lich being what he is wouldn’t be able to harm aku
Long ago in a distant land...Aku the shape-shifting master of darkness, unleashed an UNSPEAKABLE EVIL. But a fooooolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword, step forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck Aku tore open a portal in time flung him into the future where his evil was law! Now the fool seeks to return to the past....and undo the future that is AKU.
Love how the gods have more than enough power to destroy Aku and yet choose not to because uhhhhh.... Yeah idk. It's a classic Heaven move seen again and again. Evil rapes and pillages to it's hearts content while Heaven sits on it's ass waiting for someone else to take care of it.
It could be said that Aku is partially responsible for the rise of humanity. If he was the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs, then he assisted the rise of mammals on Earth and therefore created humanity.
I don’t know if this has been asked before but who would win? Samurai jack peak form or his dad riding the clouds form? That would be a good match until the end. I didn’t realize how powerful his father was, guy was worthy to have a sword born from him. That’s goat tier right there
Prime Samurai Jack wins by a long shot. Not only has he been trained from childhood to beat Aku, but his experiences from the future would also aid him in battle.
And since it’s canon that Samurai Jack takes place in the same universe as Powerpuff girls, that means two things, 1) HIM was a servant of Aku, and 2) at some point in the future, Aku killed the girls. To this day I wish we could have seen that, that battle would have been amazing, and devastating
@@Feras_Ahmed661 Gendy Tartatovsky and Craig Mckraken are very good friends and have gone on record multiple times saying that all the shows they’ve worked on (together or separately) take place in the same universe
I guess that could explain that destroyed Townsville seen in Samurai Jack's Premier Movie. But I doubt Him was ever a servant of Aku. Him is shown to be ridiculously powerful and could defeat the girls if he chose to stop toying with them.
Aku, shapeshifting master of darkness - "Do not worry, Samurai. You will see me again, but next time, you will not be so fortunate." *2000 years later* Aku's shapeshifting master of psychiatry - "Soo, tell me what's been bothering you?" Alright, you got me laughing good at that, well done.
So it’s been a while since I watched the earlier seasons of Samurai Jack and I have to ask the piece that became Aku was the only one that exists right? Because we technically didn’t see the full fight and the episode kinda immediately cuts to the piece slowly falling onto earth
The piece that eventually became Aku was the only one that survived the battle. The rest of the dark mass was shown being obliterated by the gods until nothing was left.
Yeah, because unlike Zeus, Odin, while flawed, is a good god, while with Zeus, you just need to look up the things he's done and you can see why he wasn't a good god
in the origins, we learn that at the beginning of the cosmos, a giant mass of sentient darkness wandered space, three deities (Odin, Ra, and Vishnu) confronted the darkness and used their combined powers to beat it, but little did they know that they had failed to completely destroy it, a small part of the darkness survived and crash landed on Earth, causing the cataclysmic event that wiped out all dinosaurs, as time passed, the darkness took root in Earth and spread out, creating a dense forest of black spikes with a black bubbling lake at the center eventually, the Emperor of Japan decided to do some thing about this evil before it destroyed his capital, he was given an elixir by the monks that was said to be able to destroy the darkness, however, when the Emperor coated his arrow with the elixir and fired it at the sun after chanting a spell, the poisoned arrow landed in the black lake, but instead of evaporating the darkness, it enhanced the sentience of the darkness and caused it to be reborn as Aku
the Emperor was then chosen by the deities to destroy Aku, and because no mortal blade could harm the force of ultimate evil that was not of the mortal world, the deities forged the Emperor a magical katana imbued with the will of the human spirit that contained the power of righteousness, this enchanted katana can only cut down "evil beings" and can never be used to harm those with justice in their hearts with this katana in hand, the Emperor defeated Aku and sealed him away for a decade, then Aku broke free and took over the Emperor's land in vengeance, so the Emperor's son, a samurai, had to go around the world to learn numerous skills before he was old enough to wield the katana in place of his father the Samurai and Aku fought and the Samurai was the mightier one, but Aku used one last trick to temporally displace him, banishing him to a dystopian future where Aku ruled supreme, the Samurai then adopted the alias "Jack", since that was what the first people he ran into called him he then continued his training as he tried to find a way to return to his own time, and along the way, he made many allies and inspired people to believe in hope and fight for their freedom
too bad aku will indeed return in its fromor glory days during the heat death of the universe as each and every star in the univurse slowly exhaust its gases and continues as nothing more but a dead husk thus bringing the void back but much MUCH stronger until the big crunch ig
Not going to lie the sword never had a true name i always called it the Blade or Sword of righteousness given the fact the blade is made out of pure power of good
I feel the gods are lazy and barely helped Jack and every mortals: the gods literally slain the evil primordial black mass and rather than killing Aku, they gave humanity a sword.
That's just objectively not true. Although he was more cruel for sure, and he's sentient, Aku is way way weaker than the black mass. Aku is definitely powerful, but the black mass is the size of planets, and it wouldve taken it maybe a day to consume earth at most, while it took Aku thousands of years to take over earth and even then he experienced continuous resistance. For whatever reason, the gods don't interfere in the affairs of Aku and Jack aside from enchanting the sword, but if they did they would've easily been able to destroy Aku. We see Ra destroy the minions of Set, and although Aku is way stronger, it is very likely Ra or any of the other gods would win in a 1v1 and destroy Aku. Compare that to the black mass, which was able to damage the gods during their 3 v 1 fight and even had a tiny chunk survive the encounter, Aku is just less dangerous or powerful.
If you look up the actual definition of decimate you will see one of it's 2 definitions be "to kill, destroy or remove a percentage or part of" Jack definitely decimated Aku
