set in a dystopian cyberpunk world, people are forced to wear masks to hide their identity and where they came from to avoid crimes like fraud, identity stealing, and more. a new specie of humans has arose amidst this world called 'changelings' and basically they are shapeshifters who steal other people's identities yk- the government makes sure everyone is registered as a citizen in this world (as well as to know who are the changelings amongst them) but ofc there are rebel groups and people who are against wearing the masks in general as they know how corrupt the government can be (they fear if their faces are shown, changelings will be able to fully copy them and that leads to a lot of casualties)
dream is a leader of a feared mafia group with tommy as his accomplice
(changelings in this world have different kinds of pupils, almosg like siren's pupils. thats why some wear contacts to cover up)
