The second song is making everyone in Israel crying, especially after October 7th. It’s amazing how it touches you without even understanding the lyrics.
I'm an Israeli and I really love our music but when I watched your video it made me see for the first time how diverse our music is and that it consists of so many styles! Proud of my people! 🇮🇱🇮🇱😍
The song is filled with specific biblical and Jewish references he weaves ancient and modern into his songs in a very unique and amazing way, the reference is to an idea that the the “splitting of the sea” in the Exodus (a great public miracle) is no more of a miracle than His ability to put all back in order. So just as He (God) was the only one capable of splitting the sea, so too it takes God to repair us and bring us closer to Him.
Loved both of the piano songs. You and I both understand that when you travel on a motorcycle, you really get to embrace the culture around you. The song with subtitles reminds me of the 60-70's in USA. Even the clothing looked like it. The style and rhythm of young lady at the end seemed to make me think of The Snake Charmer here on you tube except that The Snake Charmer plays bagpipes. Love hearing your views.
Hey Joel☺️, I loved listening to these songs! I liked them more then I thought I would!😁 when you talk about motorcycles you make me want to start the motorcycling trip with Jayden now😂😁, and yes I really like that style as well would love to have to style today😉😉😂🤗
Hey! I commented on your other channel as well, you're so fun to watch and I'm really glad I found your channel! I'm Israeli and somehow didn't know half of these songs so I definitely need to listen to some more Israeli music 😂 Have a good year and keep up with the great videos!
Hey thank you so much I’m so happy that you started following this channel and my other channel with my boyfriend we both hope that you keep enjoying our videos and have a great year yourself and that’s crazy that you didn’t know the songs I guess we knew them at the exact same time together!!😁😁😁☺️☺️☺️
Wow you have probably managed to listen to a song from every genre in israel in a single video, loved it. I recommend Evyatar banai- i have got a chance. אביתר בנאי-יש לי סיכוי. He has some great newer and more popular songs but i personally love his first album the most.
Haha yes I think I have😂😁, I really loved what I’ve heard from Israeli songs☺️ and my boyfriend and I love Evyatar Banai😍🥰 but I don’t think that I’ve heard this song before so I have to listen to it thank you!!!
I think It is fascinating that the songs that brought tears to your eyes were a conversation between the singer and god, you should check out the song's words.
The second song you listened to, שבורי לב , was written to describe the relationship between G-d and people before the high holidays. If you like the song, I would listen to Avraham Tal’s version. Much love!
Woww that’s amazing that a song could have so much meaning it makes it so much nicer to listen to knowing the meaning😁🤗, thank you so much for the suggestion😍😁🥰
I see you took my advice about אריק איינשטיין this music is mostly for old timers but the meaning of those words and the story behind them make this music a real magic to the soul. This specific song is writing by a friend of he's father the song talks about the neighbors wife he was In love with her but never was able to do something with it. So he write his fantasies as a poetry. The name of the song is on her beautiful hair 😁 "black gold"
Yes I loves him and sometimes old songs are just as good as new ones I definitely love songs with meanings and songs that speak to the soul and I will deafly have to listen to black gold thank you so much for the suggestion and again I hope you enjoy my videos in the future!!😁☺️☺️
I noticed last video you said you wanted more female singers so I would suggest Yuval Dayan or Roni Dalumi. Also Elai botner veyalde hachutz are a great band.
Oh wow thank you so much for all the suggestions :-) I’m actually posting a video pretty soon and if I make another reaction to his really music I will definitely use the suggestions thank you 😊😁🤗

Hi, Cass. So I only discovered you today (yeah, I know, my bad...) and wanted to react to some of your reactions. I hope you're not tired of listening to Israel music, cause I have some recommendations for you I think you might like. םForgive me. it's goingto be long, but worth, I promise. So let start: Song no. 2 - Hanan Ben Ari. Hanan is a religious man and is part of many religious singers/song writers that write and sing "spiritual" songs. In this song he does sing from his heart, I think you can hear it, he sings about G-d all mighty. I'm not going to translate everything, but he sings: "Who will cure my heart, who am I missing to, like a sea that has no shore, who will hug me and promise that I won't give up in the end". Song no. 3 - Avraham Tal - not about this song, just to recommend another song of him with Shlomo Artzi (a very famous Israel Singer), that also belong to those "spiritual" songs I was writing about before (even though he's not religious at all, neither Shlomo Artzi is ). It's a very beautiful one, called "Elohay" = My G-d: th-cam.com/video/eVJFS8AdKks/w-d-xo.html Song no. 5 - Rotem Cohen - I'm just going to put here 2 songs of him I think you might like. The first is one of his earlier songs he got famous because - "El Ha'Olam Shelacj" = To Your World: th-cam.com/video/hC8q4Gab_xM/w-d-xo.html ; The second is newer, ft. a Latin singer (I understood he's quite known, but I'm not very familiar with Latin music): th-cam.com/video/X9RR895Oook/w-d-xo.html Song no. 6 - Idan Raichel - Idan is known for making what we call "world music". He focuses on Ethiopian music and collaborate many times with Ethiopian musicians, and made few albums with them. You can see his number in the Eurovision song contest, it's a good example of world music: th-cam.com/video/9BqgyiNfAgk/w-d-xo.html Now, you were talking about road trip songs, and I wanted to suggest two of them that I like very much and here much often. They are quite different, because I can't really listen to really quiet songs when I drive, I need songs that will keep me awake. So there's an Israeli band called Full Trunk. Most of their songs are in English and they have two songs I like the most: The first is "Hey Hey" - and it has a SO COOL video clip: th-cam.com/video/kzxGNgwczTw/w-d-xo.html ; the seconf song of them is "As a Stone" - a gorgeous one: th-cam.com/video/o5Taqq_I1Ns/w-d-xo.html and also in the live long version: th-cam.com/video/JjWTzszLv_U/w-d-xo.html Song no. 11 - Ishay Ribo - Ishay is also an orthodox singer that became very popular also among secular people. He writes and sings almost only spiritual songs, and combines in his lyrics terms and phrases and contexts from the bible and from the Sidur - the Jewish praying book. This song "Ha'Lev Sheli" = My Heart - doesn't talk about the ocean at all. He talks about that his heart is ripped to twice, and he turns to G-d and tells him: "only you can turn my sadness to happiness, only you understands how to approach my heart and cures every pane in me". It is almost more like a prayer than a song. Many people feel a strong connection to this specific song. I want to recommend you watching the live version he recorded to a festival few years ago, he featured the singer Omer Adam, and the video is from the rehearsal: th-cam.com/video/1dBsJl6gqS4/w-d-xo.html I listen to it many times, it's so beautiful. That's it for now, I wrote to much already. Let me know if you want to know more, or get more recommendations. :-) Thanks for your videos, I liked them very much. Tzippy
עטור מצחך The song is a song by a poet named Avraham Halafi. The song was written about his friend's wife who may very well be in love with her The song was previously voted the best Israeli song, also in my opinion!!!!!

The song is filled with specific biblical and Jewish references he weaves ancient and modern into his songs in a very unique and amazing way, the reference is to an idea that the the “splitting of the sea” in the Exodus (a great public miracle) is no more of a miracle than His ability to put all back in order. So just as He (God) was the only one capable of splitting the sea, so too it takes God to repair us and bring us closer to Him.

hey cass. in case you did not see the translation yet :)
the song talks about the relationship with god and how he is the only one who can fill the void of a broken heart trying to be truthfully good and not succeeding .
it references the story in the book of Exodus in the bible where the people of Israel are standing in front of the sea with nowhere to run and god splits the sea for them..
My heart is split in two
What the maidservant could not see by the water
Like a storm from the sea, it pounds
Like Miriam's timbrel, it beats
And there is no cure in the world
My heart surrenders
Stumbles, can no longer stand on its feet
Just a wreck with no purpose
And the sky is like a wall to me
How can I pass through the sea on dry ground
And only You can turn my mourning into dancing
To purify the sand
To soften all in me
And only You know how to approach my heart
You lessen any pain within me
You heal my heart
My heart is split in two
Half of it is guilty, and half of it is for the sake of Heaven
Like a storm from the sea, it pounds
Like Miriam's timbrel, it beats
And there is no cure in the world for the heart
And only You can turn my mourning into dancing
To purify the sand
To soften all in me
And only You know how to approach my heart
You lessen any pain within me
You heal my heart
And there is still a foe who bothers the flock
And there is no envoy who would scream for God
Only I before a whole sea, and a broken heart
And only You can turn my mourning into dancing
To purify the sand
To soften all in me
And only You know how to approach my heart
You lessen any pain within me
You heal my heart
And only You can turn my mourning into dancing
To purify the sand
To sanctify all in me
And only You know how to approach my heart
You lessen any pain within me
You heal my heart

Hi, Cass. So I only discovered you today (yeah, I know, my bad...) and wanted to react to some of your reactions. I hope you're not tired of listening to Israel music, cause I have some recommendations for you I think you might like. םForgive me. it's goingto be long, but worth, I promise. So let start:
Song no.
It's a very beautiful one, called "Elohay" = My G-d: th-cam.com/video/eVJFS8AdKks/w-d-xo.html
Song no. 5 - Rotem Cohen - I'm just going to put here 2 songs of him I think you might like. The first is one of his earlier songs he got famous because - "El Ha'Olam Shelacj" = To Your World: th-cam.com/video/hC8q4Gab_xM/w-d-xo.html ; The second is newer, ft. a Latin singer (I understood he's quite known, but I'm not very familiar with Latin music): th-cam.com/video/X9RR895Oook/w-d-xo.html
Song no. 6 - Idan Raichel - Idan is known for making what we call "world music". He focuses on Ethiopian music and collaborate many times with Ethiopian musicians, and made few albums with them. You can see his number in the Eurovision song contest, it's a good example of world music: th-cam.com/video/9BqgyiNfAgk/w-d-xo.html
Now, you were talking about road trip songs, and I wanted to suggest two of them that I like very much and here much often. They are quite different, because I can't really listen to really quiet songs when I drive, I need songs that will keep me awake. So there's an Israeli band called Full Trunk. Most of their songs are in English and they have two songs I like the most: The first is "Hey Hey" - and it has a SO COOL video clip: th-cam.com/video/kzxGNgwczTw/w-d-xo.html ; the seconf song of them is "As a Stone" - a gorgeous one: th-cam.com/video/o5Taqq_I1Ns/w-d-xo.html and also in the live long version: th-cam.com/video/JjWTzszLv_U/w-d-xo.html
Song no.
Thanks for your videos, I liked them very much.
