Oh how this video fed my soul! I have been to Kitale Kenya on 8 medical service trips. I miss it so much, the people are so sweet and I feel so helpful when there. I sang “Jambo” along with the kids and loved seeing the Masai Mara animals again. Oh I want to go back to see sweet friends in Kitale again, going there is one of the best things I have ever done. Thank you for letting me relive my experiences there through your video.

Absolutely love watching your experiences, but as a younger parent of four girls I really love seeing your girls reactions and relationship building. Truly the hands and feet of Christ being taught and acted out. Our pastor quoted the late Reinhard Bonnke this morning “Those seeking the will of God are always overrun by those doing the will of God” and that is what I see you instilling in your sweet girls. Our nephew is currently there serving a Church mission for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. He talked about the earthquake... We'll look into it for sure!

For the record, in Kiswahili the “beans and rice” you were served at Mattaw are “maharagwe na mchele” ☺️ My husband’s family is from Kitale and I’m going to research Mattaw Children’s Village RIGHT NOW because we’re planning on bringing our kids to Kenya this summer (provided that the Covid19 situation improves 🤞). Your video is lovely!
