- Below are few disclaimers, extra info and calendar timings for projects and my role on them.
First things first, awesome music by Void Vertex, check out the artist’s other work.
DISCLAIMER: Short video inserts are property of respective game, product companies & movie studios, and are NOT my animations, but a result of a collective team work, a part of which I was fortunate to be.
INFO NOTE #1: Quite a few projects overlapped through different years. For the sake of flow of the video I gathered up the images for any single project for any given year where most of the work was done.
INFO NOTE #2: The video doesn’t mention a few cancelled & unannounced movies, some secret robotics projects I can’t talk about and Machine Instinct (indie game I was working on that was reusing a lot of the Black Phoenix Project art I created in early 2010s)
INFO NOTE #3: Software: Most of the work is pure 3D art I created using either Softimage XSI, Zbrush, Moi3D or all of them together and rendered either in Keyshot or Octane. The few 2D concepts were done in Photoshop.

Black Phoenix Project - Major personal push towards using 3D as a primary medium for accelerated concept design and digital art creation pipeline
YEAR 2013:
Transformers Age Of Extinction - Robotics Designer on the film’s main transformer characters
Intuitive Surgical - Surgical Robotics Designer on secret surgical robotics stuff :)
YEAR 2014:
Intel NDG (Not shown in the video) - Concept Designer and Industrial Designer, got on 2 patents as co-inventor and industrial designer.
Black Widow Spider Tank - Major overhaul of personal art pipeline, integrating SubD, CAD modeling and Zbrush digital sculpting all in one pipeline
Terminator Genisys - Updated design of the iconic Stan Winston’s T-800 using latest 3D modeling technology

Work on cancelled Tron: Legacy movie sequel (not mentioned in the video)
A lot more personal art and experiments, major progress on Ultraborg series.

2019 is where most of the character/prop art was done on Mortal Shell, dark fantasy action RPG nominated for Game Debut of the Year in 2020. Co-Founder of the game studio Cold Symmetry and Co-Director of Mortal Shell, released in 2020.

Только что просмотрел твое интервью на канале Raf Grassetti и в момент когда ты сказал, что не хотелось бы жить в вечно пасмурном, дождливом и депрессивном климате, я посмотрел в свое Ванкуверовское окно за которым почти всегда подобная погода включая данный момент, и подумал: так, а мне то тогда куда перебираться отсюда если это самый лучший город Канады? ))
Я хоть и не занимаюсь уже моделированием, но всегда нравились твои работы. Помню, еще в середине 2000х был в шоке от детализации твоих работ. Тоже так хотел уметь, но, к сожелению, фантазия не позволяла настолько углубиться в моделинг. Вместо этого, относительно недано перешел в FX о чем очень рад. Хоть FX это не 3д моделинг но много интересного подчеркнул из твоего интервью что мог бы применить и в своей области. Спасбо.

какой ж все таки это тяжёлый,долгий путь,потраченный миллард нервов,сил и усидчивости..но оно того явно стоит...каждый раз как тебя посмотрю и будто набираюсь сил чтоб дальше моделить и не бросать это дело как бы ни было тяжело...спасибо тебе за твои работы, за твоё искусство и за твой бесконечный заряд энергии🤙🤙✌
а у него какое-то образование есть? Просто трудно представить, что я даже за 15 лет непрерывного самообучения смогу достичь таких же высот.
@@lotr6942 смотря какое образование?и для чего оно ему? Образование в плане концептинга? Рисовать он умеет я думаю.. Да и мозгов хватает чтоб придумывать то что он моделит в зебре .. Это просто опыт.. Огромный опыт за плечами..
@@lotr6942 сейчас за 15 лет можно достичь и большего.. Раньше когда Виталий обучался , не было столько информации на Ютубе, сейчас же по любому вопросу можно найти ответ.. Стоит только придать этому усилий.. И усидчивости..

@@lotr6942 ну я пока второй год занимаюсь этим. Пока что хобби, времени не особо много уделяю, вечером после работы часов 5 + утром до работы часа 1.5-2... Результатам к которым пришёл, можно сказать доволен. Тяжёло, ну а кто сказал что 3д это легко) все мы учимся пока чем-то занимаемся...
