FORD 1210 and buying used compact tractors Part 1 of 2

Buying a used compact tractor, what to look for and if you’re willing to compromise on some features you can get a very good deal. I previously owned three Kubota Compact tractors for a one man landscape business mowing acreage, reseeding lawns and tilling gardens. Having to go back to day work from shift work ended the secondary business after 5 years and the tractors with implements were sold for a 95% return of what I had paid for them.
Kubota B7100DT with ag tires and Befco tiller, Kubota B7100HST with turf tires and 48 inch belly mower, Finishing out with a B6200DT with turf tires and a Befco rear 48 inch finish mower are the tractors used in the landscape business.
I bought the FORD 1210 after 18 years of MTD mower crap, replaced wear items with a total service and added some items from the tractor salvage yard. I really need a loader, but at 6k I cut my losses and buy a new Kubota B2320DT.
The Ford 1210 is very good tractor, all you need to do is add some 3 point hitch accessories like a finish mower, tiller, snowblower and a grader blade.
This tractor is no longer for sale, it will be used to maintain my 5 acres.
