- Ajax has had an absolutely stunning week at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam. After smashing Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in the UEFA Champions League, PSV were the visitors on Sunday. The visitors from Eindhoven would suffer a similar fate.

I'm a Liverpool fan who also has always followed Ajax and knew of Tadic's quality form fc twente days and I really wanted us to sign him (Kinda still do lol) form Southampton as a 2nd option for Bobby and I believe Klopp was also interested too but was stopped I think because at the time we had players like Lallana that had similar qualities and attributes. He's a proper player and am happy he found his home at Ajax.

And that is why they should look for a replacement which they can introduce in like the next year or so as a standin. He is already 32. They need someone wtih the same intelligence and drive: never give up.
He just choose the easy path - his potential is way above eredivisie. Its like putting Messi into some portugues legue and benfica.
It's not that he's a top player in europ - he's just in Ajax and Ajax have budget way above others. Feyenoord,AZ and PSV have combined lower budget than Ajax... "surprise" that Ajax is dominating...

Zo mooi om te lezen dat Ajax wereldwijd weer mensen bezig houdt. Heerlijk en wat verlang ik weer naar de cup met de grote oren. Het zou zomaar kunnen. ^_^
All the filthy rich clubs will be eyeing off quite a few Ajax players, as well as Ten Hag and Overmars to see who they can get at the end of the season. Whilst Ajax now has the financial means to keep their players a bit longer than previously, they still can't compete with the buying power of the absolute top, which is a shame. I'd love to see Ajax make at least the semi final in the CL again this year. It would be nothing less than the quality of their play deserves this season.

No need to feel sorry. Ajax has shaped their strategy around this. Instead of focussing on buying the best players, they are buying the best youth and train them from the start to play in the Ajax system. For youth players, Ajax is sometimes more attractive than teams like Real Madrid, Juventus etc. as the youth has a much higher chance to make it to the A-team rather than being forever benched or loaned out to some lower tier club.

Kijk is waar we nu zijn, Ajax verworden tot subtopper. Meer dan een elftal aan spelers weg: Blind, Martinez, Timber, Schuurs, Mazroui, Alvarez, Gravenberch, Tadic, Haller, Anthony, Neres, Tagliafico, Onana. Trainer weg, TD weg, CEO weg, hoofd opleiding weg. Zo zie je maar, op het ene moment lijkt de kampioen voor de komende 10 jaar vast te staan. Nog geen 2 jaar later en wat ooit onverslaanbaar leek, is het lachertje van de Eredivisie geworden. De gloriedagen van Nederlandse clubs duren nooit lang, want er lonken altijd nog meer karrevrachten aan geld in het buitenland.
Dit jaar moet ajax de champions league pakken zonder genade enige team waarvan we genieten wat een geweldige voetbal!!! Iedereen zo gehecht aan elkaar zo leer je hoe simpel eigenlijk voetbal is en dit laat ajax nog maar eens zien en nog eens ! Respect!!!!
