Pastor Nadine, God bless you for taking on this subject of depression. The one thing that brought me out it was to listen to Bible versus at night while I slept and during the day, only positive affirmations and Biblically based speakers. Of course prayer when I didn’t feel like praying! God did the rest!

Y’all. Nadine is very CORRECT. I have struggled with depression & irritability all of my life and I am now finding out that I’ve had gut problems and nutrient deficiencies for a MINUTE. Get tested before going straight for medication! & if you are currently on medication, there is no condemnation! Take it step by step! Jesus will meet you where you are which is the most beautiful thing I could ever imagine. If you’re interested in testing I specifically asked my functional doctor for a stool test which is pretty gross but very helpful in understanding what’s going on in our tummies. I also did some blood tests for vitamin d, magnesium, selenium, and so much more. Of course speak to your healthcare professional to see what’s best for you, but a blood panel and stool test is a good place to start and inquire about. Hang in there!
