If you want to hear something completely different from them, try "Daft Punk". Won their first Grammy for that one. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is also a masterpiece, or maybe try one of their "Evolution of ..." series.

If you want a good example of something live from them you should check out their version of Hallelujah (from a Pentatonix Christmas), it literally sounds exactly like their official video for the song.
Also if you watch that video (the live one) and you pay close attention, you'll notice that Scott (the tall blonde guy) takes over the Bass when Avi (the deep voiced Jesus looking guy) sings lead. Just something cool to look out for if you end up checking it out.

They did Carol of the Bells live during their Christmas special called Christmas Under the Stars. Check out that entire show. It's phenomenal.
Yes, look for that one - it's incredible. It has Matt as the bass (the one you saw as the official video had Avi as the bass) Matt is the only change in the lineup - Avi left amicably for personal reasons. Mitch and Kirsty change up their looks a lot! But it is still just them! Their live version of Come Along is great, as it the Pop Spring concert, that has several songs in it. Great as a live introduction to PTX.
As good as it was it won't compare video because Matt replaces Avi for comparison they need to hear the same people. Their live version from The View has Avi.
They also did Carol of the Bells live on The Talk when Avi was still in the group, and it blew everyone away. You can find it here on TH-cam.
They do TONS of Christmas music, but that's not all they do. They've done all types of genres pop, rap, country, you name it-they've done it. They are brilliant songwriters as well. Their original stuff just as good if not better than their covers. "Thank You" is my favorite of their original Christmas songs.
They won Grammy's for: Daft Punk, Jolene and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. All three are unique and will show you different sides of this group.
As far as non-Christmas music goes, their smash hits (having more that 100M TH-cam views) are: Daft Punk, Radioactive, Evolution of Music, Cheerleader, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Sound of Silence, Royals, Can't Hold Us. But they have *SOOO* many other great/awesome songs that are less well known that it would literally take you a couple of years to react to their full catalog.

This song was written by Mark Lowry. He is a part of a gospel touring group called the Gaethers. His version is powerful as well.

I'm so glad you got to this song. I'm not particularly religious any more, but this makes you very spiritual. "You can feel it in your soul". It brings me almost to years EVERY time I listen. Unbelievable talent all around.

It never fails to astound me when people don't recognise Kirstins voice ,you could let me listen to one hundred women sing together and I could pick her voice out in two seconds flat,her tone is unmistakable and if you can't recognise her then you are not listening properly.Its like Sohyangs My Lord Jesus,she is singing with a whole women's choir and yet her voice rises above them all, it's what truly special voices do.

This is the original 5 of PTX. Kirstin has changed her hair color several times, but she (and Scott and Mitch and Kevin) are original and have never changed. Avi (the bearded bass) is the only change, and was replaced by Matt when he left the group in 2017. Love your reaction! I'd also love to see them live. Good to see how much you enjoyed and were amazed by this song. They are great at rearranging songs to make them their own. Checkout Love Again which is an original they wrote way back and is more EDM.

This is the original group. The only change to the group since 2011 was Avi Kaplan with the beard who left in 2017. Matt Salee is the new base and everyone else is still there. Kirsten does change her hair color often.

Their harmonies are incredible, their arrangements are amazing. A good live performance is Hallelujah, the music video has over 600 million views, I like the live a bit better, it seems like there is a bit more emotion and of course the audience ❤️. Happy Holidays everyone!

You asked about "new members" - they have had one and ONLY one membership change. Avi (bass, white, bearded) left in 2017 due to family issues, to be replaced by Matt (bass, black, usually does NOT have a beard). But both Kirsten (mezzo soprano, white lady) and Mitch (counter-tenor, white, dark hair) tend to change up their looks pretty much on the drop of a hat. Scott (baritone, white, blond) and Kevin (beat-boxer & sometime tenor, black, small beard) tend to be more steady in appearance. It is true that they do a lot of Christmas albums, but they do every kind of music except no "gangsta rap" or far-out acid rock. You want non-Christmas? "Daft Punk (Medley)" won them their first Grammy. That is an EDM genre. Or try "Bohemian Rhapsody" as an iconic rock anthem that will truly blow your mind.
If you want to see their talent truly shine, just check out where they began, literally, on The Sing Off. Their story is pretty amazing. Not just the singing.

Love again is one of my favorite originals.
PTX has live versions of just about everything... they just vary in quality because there are live official videos for some, performances for TV Shows and stuff (but the mic mix can be wonky), live professional recordings from concerts and a ton of fan-shot videos from concerts and VIP performances. Carol of the Bells, specifically, has a bunch of TV/interview performances from back in 2013 but also a really good one from their Christmas special this year... so lives with both Avi (2011-2017) and Matt (2017+).
I'm sure you've been told by now, but while they have 7 albums of Christmas music, they do actually have a *lot* of non-Christmas. Their total songs - Christmas, covers and originals - is getting close to 300. Their most viral videos are Hallelujah and the Daft Punk medley. Their three Grammys are for Daft Punk, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (which I know you already watched) and Jolene with Dolly Parton.
Their record label blocks absolutely everything. Some reactors have luck with flipping the video, making it more transparent, moving filters or text overlays, but nothing guarantees a clean release. Do hope you keep going anyway.

Now that you have heard their version...try the Home Free version of "Mary did you know"...equally good a capella, but different style and flow. Home Free also self produces so the blocks happen a lot less, unless the original publisher of the cover blocks it. PTX is more pop/synth and Home Free is more country style, but as PTX does, HF covers a lot of genres. Their bass has a 5+ octave range, they beatboxer sounds like a drum kit. You can't go wrong with any PTX or HF music. Mitch and Kirstin change their looks all the time, the only new member is the bass Matt that replaced the original bass Avi.
Love Again is one of their originals that is phenomenal.

Pentatonix has over 5 BILLION views on TH-cam. This is what people worldwide listen to. You are about 11 years late to the party. Whoever reacts to their videos gets their TH-cam ratings up. They have over 200 videos on TH-cam and have 3 Grammys so far.

This is one of my favorite songs...so powerful! Oh Yes do more PTX (for short). Pentatonic Scale is also called five-note scale or five tone scale containing five different tones. Scott (the tall blond guy)came up with the name because they often sing in 5 part harmonies, only putting an 'x' at the end instead of the c, because it is 'cool' and there are 5 members. Just a fun fact! There is so much info. out there on Pentatonix, in which you will learn from fans on this journey. Exciting times ahead! This rabbit hole is the best!

Kirstie is the blonde and changes her hair often as Mitch the the high tone male changes his hair and attire often . They all are so talented . This video has Avi who started with them ( long dark hair) and sings bass . He left the group on good terms to have more time with family . Avi still sings and has his own channel.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the setting of the video was the Bronson Caves in LA, which is where the original Batman TV series was also set. A perfect setting for this video.

Their live shows are exactly the same if not better. Three of them have been singing together since High School and if you didn’t know they also won an A cappella singing competition on ABC called ‘The Sing Off’ when they were in High School as well. They were then signed to Sony. They have since won 3 Grammies as well.

It you watch their silent night video, it was filmed live in a cathedral. It’s utterly stunning. Other live recordings are all of their evolution of videos and their covers of “no” and “gold”. Amazing
