    I am from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. In the Caribbean. I had rasmalai once in England. Never saw it in my country until recently in an authentic Indian restaurant in the city. This recipe looks so easy I am definitely going to try it.

    i tried this recipe...it turned out really tasty and delicious😍 they were really soft and chewy
    the only thing i did in a different way is that instead of kneading i used a mixie blender to make the chena fine in texture and that makes it more softer and chewy❤

    I have been making Rasmalais for years using full cream milk. Never made good Rasmalais. I just followed your recipe....

    Very good recipe!..
    Tried making rasmalai for first time and with this recipe i can say its a 100% “NO FAIL” recipe... it tasted as same as store bought or halwai made...only i wish i had made 2X of the recipe cause we finished it all in one day!... totally amazing and very well explained...all you have to do is to follow the instructions properly

    Tried it, and it came out delicious. The key to this recipe is patience.
    You have to wait for the paneer to dry out before kneading, for the rasmalai discs to cool down before you put them in the milk, and for the rasmalai to chill in the fridge and absorb the milk before eating.
    If you're in a hurry, then it's not going to work.

    Thank you for this, I'm so glad you mentioned that it had to be good quality milk, I live in Canada so I just bought the regular 3.25% milk but it turned out hard, I then bought the fine filtered 3.25% and it turned out exactly as it looks in your video, the taste is amazing!

    yrsterday my family prepared rasmalai for Shree Krishna ji Janmashtmi festival 🌻 Prasad.
    recepie came out perfect 👌spongy and juicy soaked sweet kesar floured milk.
    they followed each nd every step as shown in this vedio.
    i first time cld know this fact that the milk should be of lesser fat.and was in impression that this recepie can be made of any of the paneer which is available in mkt .
    family is very glade and trying to finish this lot, to prepare new one again.

    I got to taste some of the Bengali sweets when my fiancé brought some for me from Kolkata and I fell in love! And seeing how time and effort put to it, I'm not surprised why Bengali sweets are best. Better than my usual chocolates lol

    Inspired by your recipe I made rasmalai but mango ras malai with mango in between and using aam ras in the milk and squeezing out only milk (rest of it I used in ice cream)... And it came out wonderful!! Thank you Yaman!! The tips u give r perfect! Helped when I put it in cold water at the perfect time.... Thank you!

      For paneer its no rocket science, just use good quality milk and boil in sugar syrup until done

      Even my paneer got harder.. I think we should avoid cornflour while knead the paneer.

      Fairoz Khan Khalid Dear Brother, sugar is not the only reason for Diabetes and sugar is not a bad word. I agree that too much of anything is bad for health. Nevertheless, I feel that people always connect to reduced sugar levels and eating "healthy" by cutting out everything that is sweet. They forget the primary factor that any carb you ingest in the body, be it simple carbs ( different kinds of sugars) and complex carbs (.bland) have to be necessarily converted into glucose in the body. All u need is portion control and proper exercise and rotation of nutrients. You can achieve wholesome health only by doing this and not by avoiding or eliminating one food totally.

    you get the most out of saffron if you soak it first in a slight amount of water...maybe an idea to omit the food colouring too
