Thank you for going through your supplies. I've been embroidering 10 yrs and you are the first person to point out the screw key was for tightening the hoop. I always thought it was an awkward tool for the needle plate screws. This will help tremendously.
My Meridian was Agatha as she was a mystery to me after my Viking Designer 1 floppy drive machine. I now have a Lumi 3-Claudette (Cobert) as she is Beautiful, talented and a bit sassy!!!💖🧵🧵🧵
I love the comment about being a Kimberbella LOL I am now obsessed with their patterns and have purchased many already and I am signed up for their Two day event next month for the Easter Tiered Tray and I can't wait. My local quilt shop sells a lot of the Kimberbell CD's and kits, and fabrics and I couldn't be happier! My dad lives in UT so I may have to send him to the Logan store for stuff I can't get here LOL and bless him, he will too! Gotta love supportive dads! ❤
Hi Becky, I watched this video on repeat; I’m not a beginner, but I love watching your videos. They are like comfort tv for me at the end of the day. Even tho I have experience, I still picked up a couple tips today. And I love that you go with the flow when things don’t go as planned, and then we all learn new ways to improvise. Thank you for all you do! Deb Smith
28JAN24 - I am just getting to this. I just loaded on my 6x10 hoop, the Kimberbell CBT file (not the block by block) onto my machine, added LadyBird and no problems! Fits fine.
Becky this was a great one. Shows from beginning to end how its done and how to change things if needed. That everyone has oops and how to work around them. So glad that you are doing this series. Best wishes to you and Keith and Frito. And your other furbaby, can't remember the name.
Usually the design for 5x7 inthe stitching field is slightly smaller than 5x7. If you added a border to the design maybe that’s causing the alert to show.
I understand cutting your shapes on your scan uncut. Do you have to cut with a 1/4 . I have e16 Bernie Embroidery machine. When you have a pattern loaded do you not use the placement stitch..if you Have precut your pieces already. Thank You Debbie Triggs
Debbie, you do not need to cut a 1/4” when cutting applique shapes. You still need a placement line to see WHERE to place your precut shapes but if you have backed your fabrics with Heat n Bond prior to cutting, then you don’t need the tack down stitch to hold it in place…the HnBond will do that. Hope that helps.
Jan 28th: wait, you got heatnBond lite on the bird's wing? I didn't see you use SNC for this on this video. I was searching for it, but all that came up on your channel were applique (scotty dog),etc. did you do this on earlier mini quilt video and some how i missed it? I will go back and view those again. Meanwhile, I will just do the cut the wing on the hoop thing since I already started.

I’m the one who would be running my thread every single time. LOL I need to try this rethreading method.

Hi Becky. Do you do the thread tie-off rather than rethreading all the way through the channels and tension discs to save thread? Thanks
Yes! It's so much easier. That's they way they do it in industry. So what works well for them works great for me!
I thought so but wasn’t sure - I’ll try it - thanks!

Do the needles you recommend fit the 10 and 6 needle 75/11
You'll want needles specifically for the multi-needle. I use Organ size HAX 130 EBBR #11 amzn.to/41XPbDp
Becky, what kind of tablet does you use for your embroidery?
It’s an iPad but I only use it for instructions. It can’t run embroidery software.
Can u use a magnetic hoop?
Yes certainly!
😊hi Linda from Port Mansfield This so nice to watch this afternoon
I just got my brand new luminaire XP3. What additional sizes of hoops would you recommend that I purchase?
You'll probably want the DIME Magnetic 10x16. I use it for larger designs all the time.
How do you get the pdf file on your I pad so you don’t have to print
I’m pretty sure Becky emails the PDF to herself so she can read it on her IPad.
Hi…. May I ask what bobbins you use for your multineedle?
Fil-Tec Magnetic.
Dime hoops are soooo expensive ...... i have the embroidex ones
Metalic thread is supposed to come of the side ..... not the top
