Clyde's First Day of College part 1/2

- It has been a long, relaxing summer break that Clyde has been on ever since he graduated from high school. But until then, he isn't too excited to start college which it will start on next week, even though it starts early in August. Will Clyde do well in college?
This actually reminds me back when I started my first year at a community college 3 years ago, which I will remain enrolled in for approximately two more years before I transfer out. According to my own experiences, I felt pretty excited & nervous at the same time from what I can remember and began w/ GE courses similar to what Clyde's taking as shown in your video. However, I do agree that Clyde needs to be more self-reliant, independent, as well as taking responsibility of his actions because just one form of misconduct (e.g. cheating and disruptive behavior) could really get you down the drain unlike in high school.
Well, misconduct in college almost got myself in conduct probation, which is completely different from academic probation. At the workplace, conduct violations could get you terminated
In reality, the parent of the college student drops the student off at the dorm entrance, then the student is expected to buy his/her textbooks independently, or if the student is enrolled in community college, then the student is expected to request for a ride to the university bookstore to rent the textbooks for a semester.
PS: I would totally agree that students are expected to take baby steps in their coursework, whether it be for assigned reading every week, or the sequence of courses that are expected, and following the advice from your advisor, based on the Course Program of Study
PS: If your professor requires that you have an access code for HW, then you must get the physical copy from the bookstore, even if you find a physical copy from Amazon. The main problem with Amazon is that they never give students access codes

I started school on August 28th
College is very easy.
Once you get to college, you'll find out that the coursework that is expected from a 3 credit hour course will be intense
