Today I wanted to share some of my favourite Korean Gel nail products!

Nail products have come such a long way from basic polish, top and base coat. The industry and your channel is constantly evolving and I’m here for it. 💅🏽👍🏽💜
I remeber when it was just top coat and polish, no base coat and I'm only 26. Idk if it was around and I just didn't know about it or what, but for a while to me it was just polish and top coat.

Thank you kindly!! May I bother you in asking where you got your clear disposable sticky notepad? All the ones I have gotten have a matte look and feel. Although I can remove it with Alcohol and it is then clear. But not having to do that every time would ease some of my frustration lol. Take care & Ciao 4 Now...💕💕
Black sand gel... my mind went right to geode nails. Im a black stilettos type of girl, but do you know what makes black pop? Neon colors! I like my nails to pop! Right now, im wearing neon green stilettos with, let's just say "risque", black and white art, lol. Congrats on your license!

Hi James! I would like to know your opinion on the safety of doing acrylics, gel, uv lamps ect. at home. I'm reading worrying articles about people getting allergic to acrylics (and that would be a disaster if you think about all the stuff that has acrylics in them), and the fact that the lamps could be dangerous for the skin and the actual nails after a long time using it. So I'm getting scared to try. My daughter would like to be a nail artist when she grow up, but I'm scared know 🙄 What should I do?

Thanks! Okay so long story short, UV lamps are perfectly safe but you can always wear UV gloves or sunscreen. The main reason people develop allergies is because of poor technique and the products overly touching the skin, flooding cuticles and side walls and product going under the nails beds etc. applying acrylic or gels to damaged skin can also increase the chance of allergies. I’m not sure about acrylic but gel doesn’t ruin nails / thin them etc. it’s usually poor removal techniques and being too aggressive with a file that makes them weak and thin. I would recommend having a builder gel base on your nails. That way, the nail designs can be filed away to the builder gel which will act as a protective layer. Hope that makes sense?!

Its so effin sad that they do not have a shop in europe. Shipping from US, the tax and customs you pay, it is not worth to order it to salon work since customers won´t be able to pay for the service while using those. Even tho i soooooooo want to get them for my work...Ehhh

I just received my first order from Zillabeau, so excited to finally try the Jello Jello One Kill system.
I have been making my own press on nails while I was waiting for my delivery.
I cannot wait to try it and change out my mani's more frequently without having to use too much acetone.
I'm super new to using gel-x systems, next I need to build the courage to get into using my nail e-file/drill. I'm still too scared.

Honestly, Izemi is the best in the glitter game! I would love to try their lose glitters, but I just recently got some gels and they are unbelievable!!!

My natural nails have gotten super thin, and kind of hurt, since doing my own nails gel full tips diy. So I've got a bunch to learn still. But keep doing what you're doing, bc I'm encouraged by your videos.

I love Zillabeau! I also buy from Sweetie Nail Supplies but Zillabeau is my favorite. I get their packages in two days which is crazy to me and only helps fuel my addiction. 😂
I just bought the Izemi Cotten Candy Collection and they are so beautiful! They make my pastel loving heart happy lol. At first I wasnt interested in the Fiote ink fit collection because I wasn't sure how I could use it for the kind of designs that I make but I was watching Zillabeau's live yesterday and I saw some of the examples that the nail tech made with the collection and now I need it immediately. 😆 I'm not crazy about neon colors but since the forumula is reminiscent of watercolor paint/ ink, I think I can work with it.

16:25 I have two aurora solid gels. It has four colours. One is the same purple and a light green and a coral orang and one shimmer gold. The packaging says A&E but I am pretty sure it is fake and made in china. It is really good and pretty though. I mean it is amazingly beautiful like an actual aurora.❤

I love Zilabeau! For the texture gels, I use that for tweed style nails. It's my fav way to create that design. Thanks for sharing! 🥰

This haul is so dreamy! 100% with you on neons but those inks are so pretty! I love that they’re powder/pastel neons, vs vivid neons. The rough gels are great for plaid or tweed designs, I’m obsessed with them 😍 Can’t wait to see what you do with these ✨

I know everyone says izemi and aurora Queen for glitter but I love love love tiny gel. I’ve demoed a lot of zillas products in my channel and by far my favorite are Fiote and tiny gel. Welcome to the niche corner of TH-cam by the way. Love to see more artists getting into the k gel j gel game. I know you just got your license another great thing to do is specialize by getting brand certifications. Not all certifications are created equal though so be careful. I just recently obtained leaf gel and kokoist I’m thinking about doing vetro next. Anyway love the video ❤

Does the Jello Jello peel off base ruin your press on nails? I like to reuse my press ons and am afraid that the remover will break down the polish.

I developed an allergy to the at home gels like beetles and born pretty but I’ve been able to go to the salon without an reaction. Would Korean gels work better for me? Miss doing my nails at home 😰

Hi James, love a good nail haul!! A few things, the first marble nail, some gold veins going through it would be great, that textured gel, great for making tweed nails, have fun!!!!! OH! Have an extra top coat ut aside for chromes and glitter so you don't contaminate your others.😁
Omg yesssss tweed nails 😍😍😍 yeah like gold veins but of glitter here and there would look so good 😍 haha yessss I forgot to mention I have 3 of those top coats! One for everything, one for chromes etc and one spare! I learnt the hard way about having a separate chrome top 😭

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Zillabeau! I had to get the Jello Jello peel off base (obviously!) and then I basically ordered a nude syrup gel polish from, like, 4 different brands to see which one I like best. I was kinda bummed that a lot of individual polishes were sold out so you could only get them if you ordered the full set, but I'll just have to keep my eye out for restocks!
Yessss the peel off base is the best! Ohhh what brands did you order? Mayour do great syrups. And tiny!!! Yeahhhhh they sell out super quick but I also feel they re stock pretty quick too!
@@neophytenails The Tiny gels, along with the Jello Jello base coat, were the reason I ordered anything so of course I got a couple of those. Then I also thought I'd try Mayour, F Gel, and HoHoLee. I think next time I'm gonna have to look for those glitters you showed, cuz they were gorgeous!

@@neophytenails In Australia, yes. Boring, but long nails are a risk to patients because they can scratch, etc, also can break through gloves. Nail polish is great for flaking off into wounds and don’t get me started on how disgustingly germy acrylics and gels are 🤢

Im allergic to gels but not exactly sure. How did you pin point it was brush cleaner ? I’m trying to pin point to exactly what I’m allergic to so I can still get my nails done 😅 I don’t want to give up gels
Heyyyy! Mainly because my reaction cleared up. I didn’t use any gels but one day cleaned my brushes and got a reaction again! I also got a reaction when I over prepped my nails! Clipping and Russian e file manicure made my skin so damaged (even though I couldn’t see) and the gels got into open wounds and caused a reaction!
@@neophytenails that makes a lot of sense. I think I made myself allergic as well when diy-ing my nails and flooding wounded cuticles so it makes sense. But now it just won’t go away 😅. Thank you 😊
Getting product on the skin, over filing the nails, heat spikes (so the lamps too hot, the nail bed is thin or the gels too thick and you feel a burning sensation on the nail whilst in the lamp) can cause reactions, it’s always advised to use the same brand products, so same lamp, top and base coat as well as the gel polishes
@@sr0908 thank you. My skin bubbles up and it’s so itchy I want to cut them off every time I get them done. I still try hoping I get lucky but I’ve had to get steroid shots a bunch to control it
